I'm from the capital city of Germany and I really love music. Instead of just listening to it, I play several instruments and work as a hobby as producer for smaller bands but mainly I'll work as specialist of the hotel.

I first started playing RoM with my old school friend in 2011 after playing on offical for a few years i change the server to another private one where i played almost a year or two. My guild changed that time to Arcadia where i started playing. After the guild break-up i stopped playing Arcadia, but now I'm back since early 2018. I spend my time with playing with my guild Pulse or doing other stuff like farming set skills etc.

The best thing on arcadia are the customized instances... we dreamt years ago about Hall of Survivors Hard Mode and now i can farm it or Gorge of The Ice Giants is awesome too.

Conclusion:

There isn't a better Server than Arcadia so Cheers Guys keep enjoying this server!

I'm from the south of Germany and I'm a long-time RoM player. I first came into contact with the game back in 2012 after the servers of the game I played beforehand, Sacred 2 (what a fitting guildname I have :D), were shut down for good.

Soon I was captivated by the complex itemization and customization possibilities of the game and over the years I got to know many nice people and guilds on my server Draiochta, such as Fairplay, Shadowoflight, Blackknights and finally my current guild: Sâcrêd.

Over time, we grew together as a community and thus we were shocked to witness the apex of the publisher's greed when they announced the diamond restock changes. This was the final straw for me and my guild and we decided to quit RoM, even though we really liked the game itself.

But then one of our members, Allissya, who played on Arcadia some time ago suggested trying out this server. First we were unsure how to think of it, because non-mainstream servers had kind of a stigma to them (which is not justified at all), moreover starting anew was not a very tempting thought. But we looked into it regardless and soon fell in love with all the things playernet.games changed or did different than greedfor... uhm I mean the other publisher, such as proper instance design, long-time motivation through item refinement and the purple stats (which by the way achieved what the red stats failed to be - something special to fine tune your gear) and an AWESOME support and GM team that really cares for the players and listens to them. While it's pretty difficult to pick a favorite among all these features of Arcadia, I think it's the (working) communication between players and developers that amazes me the most.

I like spending my time ingame mostly by running Gorge of the Ice Giants with my guild (kudos to the developers, pretty fun instance) and trying to solo the non-custom instances for fun and item set skills.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I figured this to be the perfect opportunity for feedback regarding Chronicles of Arcadia

My name is Iulian - Ingame: Evindal, I'm from Romania, I play ROM for a long time, from Chapter 4 on official, but after 5 years I move on another privat server, but about 2 years ago, the server go down, after a time I want to play again ROM, because is first game who make me fell to stay awake after a day of hard work, I try to play on official server, but is very hard to advance with few dias, after google searche I found my salvation "Chronicles of Arcadia", I play 1-2 hours per day maybe few, maybe more, some time all day, but because I most go to work my time is limited, but I like to make quest and I want to finish all, is hard but in some day I will be happy to tell "I finish all".

Chronicles of Arcadia have a nice team of players who help new players, thx to all .

My name's Blaze and I'm from Poland. Though I moved a lot over the years so you could say that I'm from Europe and that would most likely be more accurate. First time I sunk for countless months in Runes of Magic was back in the day when it was originally released by Frogster in Europe. My character's name was Inouemao and I played on Macantaht. I initially chose M/P and for a while it worked quite well, eventually switched to M/W to optimize my burst damage output. I worked on that character for for few years eventually grinding my way to top three mages on the server. I stayed in top 5 on various spots for another year or so until I quit the game. Why? I can't quite tell you, perhaps I've switched jobs and needed more time for the new one, or moved or just real life got in the way - it's quite difficult to pinpoint the exact reason now.

Years passed and I've grown hungry for that MMO high that you get working your way through new instances, learning the boss patterns, dying countless times just one hit away from downing "that" boss... I'm sure that you know exactly what I mean. But no other MMO I tried could just do it for me and scratch that itch. Tera and Neverwinter were probably the ones I spent most time with but no more than few months at each and I never felt the connection with them and their communities. There was just nothing like RoM.

And that's how we find ourselves here and now. Chronicles of Arcadia. The Runes of Magic game, that original Runes of Magic never managed to mature into. It's bigger than I could ever hoped for and the level 80 event is just massively helpful for someone who's not entirely new to the game but a coming back player. Granted, first day here proved that I've forgotten more than I could believe but both other players and surprisingly (at least to me as I still remember those working for Froggy) GMs were incredibly helpful. They answered all my seemingly stupid questions and done it patiently and thoroughly. And I can promise you that after such a long break I had plenty of stupidly simple and obvious (it seems) questions to ask. And I still do but at least now I know that I will get my answers. It's been little over a week since I'm here, my tiny W/M - 81/80 (and M/W as I plan to rock as both) - might not be the force to be reckoned with just yet but is showing a lot of promise and it's a lot of fun learning the ropes again.

I know it was supposed to be a short story but ocean of above words aside I can tell you one thing - it was hella worth coming back! Chronicles of Arcadia thanks to the community and devs who seem to working for the gamers and not against them seems to be my new permanent place to be! All I gotta do now is gear up, find a nice guild that would take my under their wing and help to grow and I'll be able to start crushing them instances like a champ! Or being crushed by them, either way seems like fun.

My name here and ingame is Jodler, I am in my mid-20s and come from the region around Heilbronn in southern germany.

I work as system administrator at an IT company and spend most of my free time in the DLRG (German Life Saving Association) as a trainer and lifeguard as well as playing video games.

On the official servers I played the game on the german server Muinin, where I started with the release of Chapter II (The Elven Prophecy). After that I played several years on another private server. My classes were always magical damage and/or supporting/healing.

I originally created my character here in the autumn of 2015 when Arcadia still very new. From then until now I didn't really have much time as I was an apprentice at work and had to study amongst other things. In that time I didn't spend as much time on video games as before and didn't play RoM. Since I do have time again now I am coming back to the game.

Leveling my character brings back old memories and I am really into it again already. I want to come back to running high level instances and doing siege wars since this is what I really enjoy in this game.

3. I came across Arcadia from close friend (Kumi) she said that this rom private server was best that cameout so i wanted to try it and in first day i tried it i felt love in it... i was first playing official servers the time when chapter II was out

4. I spend my time helping guild members that are new to the whole game or private server that needs help with quests or just quest the old legend morrok wallinder questline brings back memories geez but yea i like to help people that needs the help.

5. I enjoy most the community everyone is kind to each other, the time i have played this private server i havent saw even 1 guy/girl that was rude.. for example i dont know tactics in tikal so i ask in world chat and someone helped me and i was happy, the thing is aslong as community is good the game wont die.

I'm from Poland and I started my adventure with Runes of Magic around eight years ago at global server Cath. I have met the people with whom I can spend my free time even today. Apart from the games, I really like music(Rock) and especially band Rise Against. I must mention about anime, but... I am not going to mention them one by one, as this is not my intention. We started our story here - on Arcadia four years ago. I found advertisment and we came here, coz I bring my guildmates to play. It was a time, when we achived something - clear GoH. I guess, it's the best feelings when after too many tries boss will down. Runes of Magic is the good game, but it's a curse too. It doesn't matter if we played World of Warcraft, Aion, Tera or other games... Everytime we end with Runes of Magic. In fact, again, we back to Arcadia and we want have a good time! My friends created new chars and I spend my game time with helping them... If I don't farm cards or other not important staff. Today WE - Rangarok - want to rebuild our guild! We have four players and maybe today, tomorrow or next month we will get more unique people to play with them. My favorite thing at this game is colleting rare staff and improve my char. Therefore, I think that assisting people can create a content itself in even 10 years old game. If we bored, maybe we can oneshot each other at varans bridge. How many times I speaked with my guildmates jumping around Varanas Fountain... I don't know... But it's worth it.

Also I wanted to say here, thanks for everyone which ones i had pleasure to play with! Thanks for you guys from Sandstorm, Fallen and previous Ragnarok, Pestis. I've met really interesting players and maybe our path cross again with new version of Rangarok. As a leader, friend or card-seller, see ya in-game!

Ive started on paradise and Nadana helped me alot whit starting gear then ive played while tikal was there but ive stoped playing cuz of my work then ive started playing again after one year break and i had heal gear,inferno was instance when i returned Hades Guild was looking for healer and ive started playing whit them and still that goes on today we are clearing gorge and i try to be online when ever they run thats what i like to do clear instances.Tnx alot to all ppl who supported me helped me in anyway and TNX HADES FOR KEEPING ME IN PROGRESS Gl on fields of justice

Hi everyone I come from the land down under (Australia) where i have lived all my life

Things I do in my spare time, hanging out with friends, playing runes of magic, binging on netflix ( just one more episode at 5am ) and I have a huge passion for photography.

I started playing runes of magic a long time ago, over the years I've played on a few different servers.

It's one game I've never been able to leave, even when I've quit... it always seems drags me back. At the start of 2018 I quit rom again I was giving it up for good , until some Aussie friends of mine told me about Arcadia So in April 2018 I started playing on this server and stayed. It's one of the best servers I have ever played on

Now I've had the pleasure of meeting many good people, had many laughs and I enjoy hanging out with other players doing random stuff, doing events and running Instances with the guild even if it's at 3am haha

Greetings and Salutations to all! My in-game name, and forum name is Bootyfullelf, and I hail from the land of queens (Queensland) in the land down under (Australia).

I am 33 years young married father, have an extremely diverse sense of humour, and a passion for truth and accuracy (I don't mind being wrong, as how else is one supposed to learn?). I have a few stereotypically conflicting passions, such as a love for Eminem, Doctor Who, blood and gore, the colour purple and helping those who need it. I spend bulk of my time, caring for my children and wife, but try to spend as much time on RoM Arcadia as any good quality gaming addict does.

My best friend introduced me to Runes of Magic: Thalia Server (Australia) back in 2010. My original toon name was Inyourendo (a pun) which name I decided upon whilst inebriated. This druid healer was replaced by a priest/knight healer named Discombobulation, who eventually evolved into a K/S/Wr tank This is the server I met my good friends Angelfire, Badgas, Deadroth, Ragin and Cammo to name a few. When Frogster sold up, we lost our interactive and compassionate management team (who were akin to the lovely folks here). Shortly after one 'longer than usual' maintenance, we realised the Australian server had been ninja moved to the Americas, and that was the begging of the end for Runes of Magic, myself included. After a 5 year hiatus, I came back to the American servers to my Knight toon. The GMs there were ok, but once I realised that they weren't very nice, I decided to follow Badgas and Quickheals (RIP) to this server. It took me 1 week of doing dailies and looking around to discard my mainstream toons, and come here full time.

My time is quite scarce, so I usually try to appease the boss lady to free up as much time as I possibly can for game time. Beyond that, I enjoy listening to loud music, fishing, and annoying the living hell out of my children (it's a parents given right!).

I enjoy doing my daily quests and mirrorworld, but more than anything I get a real thrill out of running instances, from windmill to gorge, each and every run is always different, and you just never know what RoM has in store for you. I also enjoy catching up with my friends, and making them laugh.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell our community management team that you are AMAZING! I haven't seen a team this good since our Thalia days, but you guys are far more efficient, and loads more friendly. I know this seems like sucking up to most, but I don't care. If you do good work, you should receive positive feedback.

Hello! My name is Alex, aka Kein ingame. I'm from neversleeping Moscow. My first acquaintance with RoM was at 2010 on Russian official server. It was the first and only MMO ever played. Soon after the beginning, RoM became for me an integral part of life. There were people with whom we could spend hours on Skype telling each other life stories, completely forgetting that we were lying face down in some dungeon. Our team was united that we did not strive to become the top players on the server. We just enjoyed the game and the process itself. However, over time, everyone began to grow up and go either to other games, or simply stopped playing. With some of these people with whom I met back in 2010, I communicate to this day. We were one big family, and some became family not only in the game. At one of these weddings I even attended, and there were some good old tube stories and memories of how bad it is when heal has a bad internet connection.

At some time I had to leave the game in order to devote more time to my personal life.

I learned about Arcadia by an accident. My neighbor told me about this server, with whom we once intersected on the official server, but we simply did not know that we were living next door. The first impression, without exaggeration, was the following: "What is going on here?" =). However, I got in very quickly, and I got a little help at the very beginning, so it was easy to play without tension. I spend my time on Arcadia, like any newcomer, trying to become as necessary as possible both as a player and as a person. There is an opportunity to do everything that on the official server caused only disgust, only card farming on official server costed me a broken keyboard.

I think all the best that is in this server has been said above: content, support, updated interface, lack of crashes, and much more. However, I want to say that this game is also done by the people who play it. Runes of MAgic would never be for me the place where I would like to return again and again, if not for the players themselves, who will always help at least with advice, and with whom it will always be possible to have fun talking on any topics, lying face down in some some kind of dungeon. xD
