Doesn't look like a pure DDOS, we are checking it.

The server has been restarted.
I like it when the game crashes every so often. All the bot accounts get booted and players have a chance at getting certain bosses.
Could be valid but.... there are no bots
The server will be back in < 5 min.
You can't do anything about that.
It was a global disconnect, and we will look into.
We will review this accidents, thank you for your report.
It most likely depends on the amount of connections from same network, especially if established in short period of time.
is it now a solution, that you get temporarly banned from login, if you login multiple accounts at the same time? I hope that this is not the ddos solution :O but I was kicked out as I tried to login a 5th account
If you log in immediately to a lot of accounts, it may be recognized as suspicious activity.
It should be a temporary, until we will build own firewall for the COA.
I successfully logged in to 6 accounts, when logging in them one by one.
Please try to do that that way.
As mentioned by Laisha, the best place for such cases is to contact out support.
They will check the logs and see what happen, and eventually return.

Dear Community,
as you already know, for the past weeks we've been encountering several waves of DDoS attacks against our systems.
Due to the nature of such attacks, classic defense measures are incapable of help in such cases.
Below you can find more detailed information regarding these accidents.
What happened?
Both, our game server and web server were targeted.
It caused disconnect from the game, and taking down all of our websites.
It was the biggest attack in our datacenter in the last year, with over a 500 Gbit/s traffic (equivalent of ~50M of players).
Our web traffic exceeded 3M of visits in just one hour.
How we reacted?
Our team immediately started taking actions against, and was looking for solutions.
We were able to mitigate the web services attacks with usage of our partner Cloudflare.
For the game server, we worked with third party companies specialized in such cases.
To bring back the gaming experience to our players as soon as possible, we decided to use a temporary solution.
Since then, we were able to successfully mitigate most of the DDOS attacks without any impact on the game server.
What's next?
You may see a captcha sometimes on our websites, we will reduce that in the future.
We will be working closely with our datacenter to build a custom hardware solution to prevent such attacks in the future.
For the next 2-3 weeks, you may encounter a slightly higher ping than usual.
Our target is to make the ping same like before, and the protection should be even better.
The disconnects may still happen during a DDOS, but this should be less frequently and improve in time.
We are also working on a compensation plan, to release after that.
There is so much to come in 2022, and nothing going to stop us from it!
Our Team thank you for your patience and continued support during the hard times.
Are we going to have to captcha every time we try to come to the forums?
No, currently it should only appear if traffic made by the user is unusual.
We may also enable captcha sometimes to let the web running during a DDOS attacks.
At the end, we are looking for a way to make us resistant to attacks, and keeping the web easy to use.
You may PM me, and i will look for your particular case.
is there any information about the constant outages with access to the server for an indefinite time, it's already very similar to a joke, when at primetime you drop out and zero actual information from the administration, not counting the post about the end of maintenance work in n+ hours
The outages are caused by DDOS attacks which we are facing recently.
When doing a maintenance, we are moving our focus on finding how the attackers are bypassing our security measures.
The attacks may still happen in the future, but we will be adjusting what necessary every time it happens.
Dear citizens of Paradise,
12.01 18:00 CET Paradise will be shut down for technical maintenance to review a connection issues.
# 21:00 - Maintenance completed
During the maintenance, we found where our filters were bypassed.
There may be still more maintenances / downtimes, but every time it will happen, we will adjust the protection.
Such situations may happen still until we will finish building of custom solution, but should be more rare than before.
Every time it will happen, we get more details regarding the attack and improving.
We were doing some adjustments regarding launcher, it should be fine now.
Just to let you know, we are still working.
There was a massive DDOS attack on our websites in the meanwhile, so we had to mitigate what took additional time.
Thank you for your feedback.
We are still working on the custom solution previously mentioned in the announcement thread.
We are working currently on a custom solution, which may help with these attacks.
This may take a few hours yet to test and deploy.
Due to the complexity of the attack, we can't guarantee that this will solve the issue.
We will do our best in that matter, but in case of failure, there are more plans further.
The installer should choose the best location to download from, which include several places on the world.
We are using a Content Delivery Network, so the only thing which could cause it is that there is none near your location.
For such case, we can provide a custom download link (ex. GoogleDrive), but looks like you already downloaded the game.
"Access denied" is caused by your operating system or antivirus blocking the patch to execute.
Please try to install the game on your desktop, and disable antivirus for installation time.
Additionally, check in directory properties if your user has all permissions.
It's not related to server being down now.
Dear citizens of Paradise,
09.01 16:00 CET Paradise will be shut down for technical maintenance due to constant DDOS attacks.
The completion time of maintenance is unknown for now, we are working on this issue.
I wasn't here on the attack time.
We are looking into it.
Adding / removing channels isn't something what will be in patchnotes.
If you need more channels, please call our GM, provide a reason, and we will add more.
We made some infrastructure changes with the latest patch.
One of them has been rolled back right now.
Please try to log in now, and let me know if something changes.
We made some infrastructure changes with the latest patch.
One of them has been rolled back right now.
Please try to play for a few hours today, and let me know if something changes.
You may:
a) try to patch your client from launcher
b) patch client from manual patches
c) perform game client reinstallation
The rollback happen when your OS or other application is blocking the .fdb files.
I would advise you to perform a PC restart before doing any of the steps above.
In case of any further issues, please contact our Support directly at https://playernetgames.net/support
The maintenance is still ongoing.
The start has been cancelled as more work is needed.
