Scout Class [Feedback]

  • Hi, its all about casting time and being interrupted when moving. In scout/warlock, cooldown of 2 skills are depending on ranged attack speed . But these skills are really so weak. Their damage is even lower than . Other single target skills have casting time-channeling time. We cant use these skills while moving. And even if use and cast those skills while moving, our targets die even before spells are being casted. As you can see, scout/warlock's single target rotation can only be used on boss when you have . It is almost impossible to use your single target combo against mobs.

    So, there are 2 options for this class to make its single target rotation something we can actually use :
    1- Make an instant skill. So, we dont lose our time (which i think not a good idea beacuse this class would be so powerful )
    2 - Make this just like what you did in scout/mage class. It should be a magical skill which deals poison damage. And its cooldown should be scaled with our ranged attack speed.


    Please reconsider my second suggestion. If we could use + while moving, this class wouldnt be so annoying on most single target situations

I would recommend increase the damage of the "Hurricane of Downpour" from %250 to at least %600 and reduce the focus consumption from 40 to 10. Also reduce channel speed from 2 to 1 and reduce the hits in seconds. And finally reduce its cooldown from 10 to 5 seconds.
    Additionally make it uninterruptible.

    If you want better dmg you should make other weapons .You should make a bow with attackspeed alongside with distant dmg and damage bonus weapons. Then your damage will be fine xD i can almost hear you saying, "are we going to make that many weapons for one class?" Unfortunately, it has to do so to reach its full potential.

  • Hey! I don’t see S/R or S/D, S/Ch struggling with large groups of mobs. Was Hurricane Shot supposed to be changed? – I wouldn’t want that. Against large groups of mobs, this skill still deals massive damage, while on smaller groups, it’s useless. In my opinion, you just need to test when it makes sense to use this skill and when it doesn’t. Changing it to 600% would mean you’d be killing large groups of mobs with a single skill, making the scout simply too strong.

  • Heyho, I think Hurricane is realy great atm, i think maximum a bit buff enough for it, like 250->275% not more, the real problem with it, the small range. So sad you need to go almost melee as a scout just to use it, so i think increase the range, the rest is fine in my eye.

    stay range while cast this skill would be also a hugh dmg improvement since dmg scales on range plus time for moving is reduced which also brings dmg. this change should be well checked if devs consider it to implement. Scout metas dont underperform i think but some scoutclasses need some love i guess.

  • Hi Guys, since for more and more classes tier list are being created I through it would be nice to create a list for Scout as well but since I don't play all scout classes by myself I will need some help ^~^


    So what I will do is I will rank them based on my feeling and what I played / saw in the last months

    Feel free to tell me your opinion or correct me with constructive feedback, this tier list will only cover physical scouts so I won't include S/Warlock

    S Deals very good DMG,

    A still deals good DMG

    B deals average DMG

    C deals meh DMG

    D garbage

    S/R , S/D ,

    S/Warden ( high potential to actually be good, but still underperforming inside orkham/Grafu )

    S/Warrior ( also nice potential since skills and playstile is cool but DMG is not good q.q )

    S/B , S/P , ( ik those two have buff skills and on a support list S/P would be S but since it is about DMG :(


    S/K , S/M

    Both completely disappointing

    S/M on pdd gear completly rip RN even tho it can scale with magic and physical

    S/K could be good and skills read powerful but on actual combat it is not good and basically trolling

    party with knock back arrow :(

I used https://tiermaker.com/single-use-tier-list/ with professionally created class icons 🥵 27 magical classes was much more work than 5 scouts i guess :D You could also include leather bards, like b/s that seems to be good enough too :/ And maybe only make tier list for 1 ini, on mdps side the list would look entirely different for Orkham for example...

    Ye I included orkham since there isn't rly much dif for those classes the bad classes perform already bad at orkham and even worse in grafu and the good classes perform good in both Inis ^~^

    Bards won't be included since they are a different class otherwise I would need to include rouges as well and since I never played on those classes I won't make a tier list for those ^~^ But if someone else that plays those classes want to make a tier list for them go ahead w.w

  • Hey! I don’t fully agree with your chart. Right now, S/R is the only scout combination that can confidently be placed in the OP tier. In my opinion, both S/D and S/Ch are A-tier classes. I understand that there are instances where these classes perform similarly (FA, NECRO, IDK), but in top-tier instances, they don’t perform as well.

    As for S/WD, I agree with you. S/W is quite an interesting combination—it’s stronger than S/WD (but harder to play). However, the requirements for this class and the effort needed to maximize its potential don’t convince me to place it higher. It requires a greater investment in gear and knowledge to play it well.

    Regarding S/B and S/P, they are buffers, and it would be good to turn one of them into a DPS. S/M is a mech. S/K is a project that needs a lot of work—it has potential, but a lot still needs to be done to make it viable.

  • Updated s/d and s/c on my chart since i also agree with your explaination, about the buffers s/p and s/b, after last rework of s/p it realy became pretty good in terms of a support while s/b is a little bit disappoiting. The only real use it can have rn is inside dark core i believe and even there other classes can handle it better, so i would also recommend s/b getting a rework to deal dmg
