    loosing 15% pdmg for rogue results in ~22% damage loss (for me^^)

    One additional point: I don't think rogue/warrior has highest burst potential. For AOE yes, but single target not. My r/s, r/p, r/wrd, r/wl, r/m and r/ch dealing more single target burst (balton) than r/w. (didn't played r/d for a while)

    But r/w is, as you said, probably the best rogue for slow runs and has the best AOE of rogues for me, but the class is even worse than a good mage (let it be mage/ch or mage/s or any other good mage as good as those two) in overall rofl. Maybe the single target burst potential of r/w is better than other rogues, if there are other rogues of which you can leech the bleedings, but this are my experiences and r/w wasn't changed a long time.

    Would someone be so kind and explain me the exact reasons why classes are stronger as others? Why is everyone saying nerf MDD and everyone crying about leather classes, even tho a few rogue classes got a pretty good buff with the energy recharge? I only know my Knight combos, so i would love to know which class is the strongest atm based off ROFL runs and why other classes cant compete with others etc

    The energy buff for rogues is for a more fluent game play, not a really strong buff, because with buffs you have also dwarven ale up. Furthermore only r/d, r/p and r/s needs/can use the new buff. r/wrd don't need it.


    In my opinion you cannot say "this class is the best". It depends on gameplay, group play, pull style and much more.

    Hi I would like to suggest Ice Blades (ID 490071) for P/S to remove from GCD . It is really useless especially this class has only 1 aoe damage not like other mdps or just add another aoe for this class like changing elite skills 45 / 60 / 70 because they are now mdps class.


    And I notice on this class only 1 skill can use focus, Drowning Attack (ID 492397) and has 12 secs cd so there are lot of focus left. If possible to remove the cd of this skill and just add the required focus on this skill.

    I am not ingame atm, but Ice Blades have no cd, right? Removing gcd would result in spammable AOE 5 times a second. Would be to much in my eyes without testing

    Regarding the Rogue suggestion: I support the idea, but it does not need 400% dps. could be also lower if it does not cause a global cooldown.

    Yep, R/K without Power of the Lion active is as good a dps as Ch/W with Disassembly Mode active.

    If you compare CH/WL with r/p it is not fair comparing CH/w with r/k...

    I like the idea for sapping arrow.

    But wouldn't recommend such change for Shot. This would be to strong in single target compared to others, because you could always use 3 skills in 1,5 seconds

    But you are comparing a weaker chain class with one of the top rogues ;)

    Warrior/CH was an example. Also Warrior/r and Warrior/WL are on top with lower gear.

    I also haven't the new ISS yet. And at least the CH/m is stronger than CH/WL.

    I understand that some chain classes are not on top, but please understand that you should one of the best chain classes comparing with one of the best rogues. Otherwise we can discuss that r/k is totally useless. Far far away in damage than CH/m while both tanking and even not so tanky in dps gear :P


    P.S.: I tested the chain class for myself with my own rogue. I am not a fan of comparing with other ppl because of reasons

    Did you also compare yourself to M / S, M / WD, M / CH, CH / M, W / R. In my humble opinion, comparing yourself to one class is not very appropriate.

    It is, because both you and Lutine said chain classes are stronger than Rogues in general. As I have stated, this is not true for classes like Ch/Wl.

    Maybe for CH/WL which get a buff. But r/p is atm the strongest rogue in single damage and right behind r/w in aoe. With my t10 Chain gear I did more damage with Warrior/CH for example.

    regarding rogue/priest change:

    • Reduced Patience and Salvation maximum stack to 15 from 20.

    Maybe it was the strongest rogue yes.

    But for rogues in general: As I tested and saw in the last days after the 30% nerf, the fights lasts longer (no surprise ;) ) and this brought the main problem of rogues to the light.

    In general rogues cannot compare in whole RoFL with Chain dps or mdps classes. Maybe except rogue/Warrior because of his aoe.

    With way better gear (2-3 Tiers), better cenedrils and other things I have more, I just manage to compete with mdps classes in longer RoFL runs now (even if it is only 5 minutes longer than before).

    The main problem of most rogues is the energy. You cannot regenerate it like warriors with attacks or have an endless alternative skill like other classes like mdps or scouts. Practically if you ran out of energy, you need to wait 4 seconds to use a skill again, because you regenrate only every 2 seconds a few energy. With Rogue/warden for example you have a mana based Skill next to your Charged Chop. But rogue/priest, rogue/Druid, rogue/mage, rogue/WL haven't an alternative skill. Even with Rogue/warrior and rogue/CH you run out of both resources in long fights. But with Rogue/Warrior it is nearly never a problem (good elite skills, thx for it)

    But the other rogues are only decoration in the group without energy (need to test r/CH after next patch).


    This is just my opinion based on playstyle of rogues and chain classes in the last days and comparing it with mdps and other chain classes ( I know chain will be nerfed. But longer fights -> worse for rogues xd )

    Regarding healing reduce: you shouldn't forget lower characters with lower gear/stats. For example inferno is designed to heal with tikal gear and gorge to heal with half-half tikal/inferno Gear. With those gears you have way less bonus healing points and wisdom. The healing output will be very low comparing with rofl parties. If you reduce healing output in general, you will reduce it for all.


    But: the main problem with to much heal is, that healer will heal in every instance the same. It's not like with dps where you fight against the def of trash/bosses. So practically you can build one healer gear now and it is enough for the next 10 contents.

    If you think about healer balancing, I would think about a not visible nerf of heal output or Bonus healing/wisdom for each instance. The higher the instance, the higher the nerf. Like the def of bosses/trash increase with each instance.

    I guess we all are wondering and waiting for an update of the new card system. Some improvements were anounced in white color before the last patch and are now in purple color.

    I think not only me is now wondering, if there will really come an update/improvement/change. I know many players waiting for it...

    Cutting lvl elite by half depends in change. If Heavy Bash is changed to be flawless without any other changes, you will be same like before without dwarven ale. The support of the class works only on static enemies (bosses). A change like for CH/m costing mana for Heavy Bash is not possible.

    Changing Heavy Bash to not cost any resource would be not in my mind, therefore the lvl elite needs to be cut by 75% or more.

    It depends on the devs ^^, but the main problem of this class is to be always out of both resources without dwarven ale. Other classes still have minimum 1 skill without resource cost or with resource you have infinitly (mana) like at CH/m, r/d, r/wrd or r/p.

    Even with r/w you have nearly no resource problems (except spamming whirlwind), because the class have a good rotation with rage and energy skills


    Edit: even with his own support IT is nowadays weaker at jerath event than r/p without any supp

    Regarding R/Ch


    I thought a long time about this class. Need to say that in my opinion the change a few weeks/months ago, that "Electrocution" triggers a "Low Blow" if you have enough energy, results in a bit more burst damage, that you can nearly compete with other rogues (still a bit lower, but ok) but in sustain or aoe damage, you lack hard in comparison with for example r/w, r/d, r/p or r/wrd. Why? Because the energy consumption of Electrocution is heavy -> permanent out of energy. If you use other skills for single target hits like "Heavy Bash" or "Energy Influx Strike" you go fast out of rage (Electrocution only needs 10 rage).


    This class lacks a bit of things like r/d, r/wrd or r/p have -> non global cooldown skills

    Maybe change Heavy Bash on this class to be flawless and give it a chance to recover some rage or energy and cost 10 rage instead of 20? There could also be a reduce of the level 60 elite to 3% damage per stack to not overpower this class. But atm the playstyle is kinda "laggy" because of both resource problems

    My sugestion about W/Ch

    elite skill 35: Moon Cleave no need rage but consumes vitality points, after accurate hit increase bleed damage from slash for few sec.

    elite skill 60: -||-. If target have bleed, (slash bleed effect) shock strike deal additional damage.

    elite skill 70: Blood Whirlwind have eqeal bleed damage like bleed efect from slash.

    I am against such change. W/Ch is not weak and your suggestions would increase the AOE damage of the class to a level, that might be even higher than ch/m. This would only change the ch/m meta to w/ch meta. Better focus on classes, that can not compete with such classes

    1 hint. W/M is played with 2h. The auto attacks does not do the most damage anymore. Furthermore you need castspeed on this class instead of attack speed

    I guess I know her problem. There is a new Interface setting, which will by default disable overheal values ;)

    Maybe that is why she think there is no heal anymore


    These is not "spoil", these can be your skills, maybe you should try improve them, in our guild we don't find any problems with "treatment".

    there is a problem with treatment because when you need this treatment you don't have it, and don't tell me that it's my only problem and that you have such a pro guild because you don't have a pro guild, every cure has the same problem as me, you don't play with treatment, so don't say anything about it if you don't know something. ;))

    do you speak about?:Reduced Arcadian Patience rate to 1% from 10%.If yes, you know this buff will be removed totally at some time in future, as it was announced months ago?Furthermore no heals should have a problem with healing because of reducing this buff. healer had several months dealing with the "remove Arcadia Patience" in the future

    I've borrowed a full gorge equipment (gorge statted) and used 2 weapons from merchant at RoFL entrance. You can see in the video, that also player with full golden gear didn't make my damage. Btw last time I played warrior is a few months ago. All in all you can say that a full raid of skilled ppl in gorge gear can clear RoFL in less than 1,5 hours, even in less than 1 hour. There can be a way better raid setup

    again thets what u think , and i l repeat as everyone say it go ahead and try it then tell us once u try u will know. just with thinking with logic if u got more magical , physical dmg and power you do more dmg so you need less time to do it... i m saying dont talk about something if u didnt try it now. also i did speak with few guild and with 1 guild thet done rofl within first guild who has done it and they also confirmed it took them 2+ hours untill they got few stats , gear from rofl... so its not just me saying it. and damage dealing people have no idea is true in some cases , but in cases thet is not true , what about it then... i l repeat go test it with people gorge gear and tell me how long it took u. btw again i l say this server is lacking players so if it requires more people to do inis its gna get even harder , and it should be done with 8-10 people gorge gear again cos there is not many people playing this game ...

    There is the mistake in your research. Only speaking to one guild. I also know that the 6-7 guilds clearing rofl 1 year ago, needed different time to clear rofl. Some more, some less time. You should ask the GM/DEVs, which have the values ;)
