It's the same issue as with the dreaded 30% nerf: It fucks over those that hadn't had the chance to build up harder than those who had. It disproportionately affects the starters.

Why? I already prefer flat values for patk buff. It is always better than %-patk., but for new healers in highend guild. But that shouldn't be a problem. New guilds doesn't have a negative effect.

Only the druid buff is lower than before, but the patk buff compensate it. please tell in detail why it should dispropertionately affects starters? And make sure in the calculation, that all players have same level and not 1 is full golden rofl, the other tikal statted.

You know that mages are still top dps? Oo ever played with a good mage in the group? Only think where mages are not top is 2-3 second burst single target as in your example.

If you want nerf damage output, take a look on support classes, bcs most of raid damage coming from them.

For example (after the nice healer changes! Ty for it!)

WL/m is mainly a support. You can let 6% buff scale with wisdom or heal bonus like surge of awarenes could scale with wisdom or heal bonus for example. Some support skills of the class scale with heal bonus

Warrior/priest: let the HP/crit buff and the buff from berserk scale with strength. Warrior/priest is still a dps and can do damage.

Champ/druid: let knowledge of destruction and the patk/matk buff scale with stamina (for Tank/shield form) and/or strength. This class is a good dps!

Scout/priest: let raid dmg buff and attackspeed buff scale with dex/str or dex only. This class is still a good dps!

Mage/warlock: no change needed. Forgotten black Magic was changed in the past, that it scales with matk. 👍 For it

These are just a few thoughts. The supporter classes should be more integrated. I often see classes like ch/d, w/p and s/p played in cloth gear doing nothing else but using 2 skills every few minutes 🙈

Why does it cut off beginners? With old patk-buff, a low guild with players, let's say around 700k patk buffed, get 18% bonus. so it would be 826k patk. Now, with new patk buff, even the low healer can buff something around 70-80k and that is even more, than the old 18%, because all %-bonus from guild towers, house maids and so on are working on the patk from priest now.

Overall it was a slight boost of patk. Only the druids give a little bit less than before, but that's ok bcs of the new patk buff

I guess yes, because it is no "skill" in a normal way, it is something like a damage over time effect. Damage over time effects can also not be reduced by dmg mitigation skills.

Yep! That's with all %-skills!

No, it is only with "dot" %-skills/effects, not with normal skills

And maybe fix Sandstorm / Nature Points of druids asap. Druid/Wl is always full of Nature Points even in trash. makes this class a bit stronger than pre patch I guess

Gamebreaking after last patch.

Increased Rain of Light casting time to 3 seconds from 1.Heal over time effect is calculated with cast speed. Now you can hot about 600-800k every 2 seconds. Brain afk class. just press this 1 skill and that's all you need in any instance.Maybe change the skill to be independent from casting time like Snipe of scouts.Greetings

easy to answer. dmg with points instead of percentage would break some classes. imagine 40k dmg from fullbuffed druid. for 2h weapon classes, it is something like "ok, 5-10% more dmg". for rogues it is something like 20-25% and for some mdps 70-80% xD. that would break the balancing completely

Just to clarify, the mentioned change is not working like this; mechanic will recover 1% of your MP always, and will steal 1% from target's MP pool if they have any simultaneously.

easy to answer: no

If mobs don't get a manapool ( I don't see any mana on mobs. Maybe they have hidden one), the r/p change will be useless i think. but we will see. Not many ppl playing r/p, but I play it from time to time, bcs I want to play rare classes. If mobs getting mana, that r/p can steal, maybe it is enough with e-potions

You get CDR on this skill if you hit something. Bigger pulls reduce this to ~2-3 seconds cooldown, so your calculation is not saying very much. Especially considering that the base mana costs of the skills are massive already.

how often do you have 12-13 mobs in rofl? We are talking about spamming AOE where, for example the r/p, it is also the MAIN dmg skill even with only 2 mobs there.

I would say you don't need to use your skill (and can't use) 600 times in 30 minutes. so your mana usage is way lower comparing with r/p, where you use literally 1500+ times a 5% mana skill.

And skills with 300, 600 or 1200 mana is not high base mana cost. You just need to adjust your character stats, that also as pdps you have 100k+ mana. 1k mana cost of a skill is 1% of 100k manapool.

Edit: so even with average of 5 mobs, you can only use your 5% skill every 10 seconds. Please don't compare with really big mana wasting classes

Hmmm not sure what you guys are talking about now or which points anyone is trying to make...

But i've tested the warrior/mage a lot lately and a warrior/mage sometimes need to use some mana potion now and then.

I use those Phirius ones and in full rofl runs i never need more then 2-4 pots and it never happened that I needed the next pot when it was still on cooldown.

Personaly I think it is cool that resource managing is part of the game, otherwise they should delete mana from the game.

But lets just wait and see how the healer changes will be after they are implemented.

It probably wont be perfect (yet) but I think it still will be awesome.

The point is, that there are classes, which needs a lot of mana.

Example r/p: In trash phases (or better in situations where you have minimum 2 targets around) you need to use 5% manaskill for maximum dmg output. that results in 60% mana in 12 seconds, which cannot be catched by phirius potions and maybe not anymore by healers.

I don't know how the mana change for r/p will change anything, but in rofl right now, the mobs don't have any mana, so the change of "stealing mana, if target has mana" is kinda joke for r/p in PvE xD and you need to rely on mana support classes

Really? I've played a ton of ch/wd which spams their skill (in trash), 5% each - mana hasn't been much of an issue, even without potting. Please enlighten me on those classes then, lol. I may be wrong.

both statements are not correct. some pdps come above 100k mana and there are even mana based mdps classes, which need to spam percentage mana based skills to do dps.

Not everyone gets less life, because I think HP buffs will buff the 40k HP a bit. But normally nearly none class used hp food. Tanks will get way less, but if you need HP you can use HP potion with 25%

I don't see a problem with HP

P/s and d/s don't have most wisdom btw, if they don't change wisdom buffs of specific class combinations

I don't see a problem for healers here... Back to gorge times, healers only playing druid/Warden, priest/knight and priest/warlock. Nobody complained about mana and these classes had no mana retention at all and nobody statted wisdom -> less mana regeneration.

Healers need to use buffood soon (ok, just 1 healer in group with max wisdom, if he/she plays d/p or p/d. The other one can still leach), that healers don't full leech anymore

It's bad for ppl who didnt stat full wisdom for more HP/def. They "need" to restat everything, which is kinda bad, because the whole utility of wisdom is not only coupled to heal amount, but also for buffing the raid.

The idea is very great in my opinion, but it is like a mage change where wisdom is giving 2 matk. That would be a big shitstorm here

normal healers should have around 1kk mana so this skill would only provide 10% mana (10s x 10k fixed mana = 100k)

I guess it's not supposed to be for healers (more wisdom = more manaregeneration), it is balance scaling for mana reg for dps I guess
