Yeah. I guess it could be controlled like rofl cores.

As everyone could notice, game economy is having huge difficulties over the last year. People farming inis can't sell what they get. Stats prices are almost worthless. If you are lucky, all you can sell is a golden pull every 10 days and be thankful.

Tiers sellers market is even worse. Dirty tiers have really low reward for the effort you have to do. Well, that is assuming anyone buy what you farm on the first 30 days. Don't even want to talk about clean prices. They cost the same than the diamonds you need to produce them if you buy puris on weekend offers. Only those who buy charges and puris in happy hour can afford to sell (with low benefit) and sadly, f2p average players can't wait 5-6 weeks to buy big amounts of them to farm the rest of the month. It makes this whole process for new people and those with low income literally impossible.

New people can't gear up because they don't have access to diamonds and that make it impossible for them to buy any puri, charge, extractor, plussing stones or any Item Shop thing they need to upgrade their gear.

My proposal is to add a npc where you can sell your tiers. This npc will return the money spent (so you can farm more) and give you some profit BUT not in real diamonds. It could be a new coin or new diamonds which you can spend on Item Shop like if they were real diamonds but not in auction house, etc.

    Few numbers:

Lets take Tier 13 as example of dirty tier.

    - Cheapest price in Auction House is around 1300 diamonds.

    - In happy hour it costs 894 diamonds. Benefit = 406d

    - In weekend offer it costs 960 diamonds. Benefit = 340d

Farming this require 15 to 30 mins (depending how many buffs, potions, speed, experience, transmutor bug, ms lag, fps... and many other factors). I would (for example) sell the tier 13 for 1400 dias or new coins to the npc. This is around 500d max of benefit per tier (a bit less since we need lucky potions and that cost money too xD). If we cap these sales to 3 x t13 per day, farmers could get up to 40-45k dias every month if they farm everyday.

In general, this economy problem affects everyone, not only new people, old players too. They can't sell anything so they can't keep upgrading their gears and they all eventually quit or do long breaks until market return to where it was. Biggest problem is, market didn't return. Usually it takes a few months but this time (since diamonds offers are really terrible), the moments where we sell many things (anniversary, halloween, christmas, etc) don't exist anymore.

This is just a proposition, Idk if is the best or not or even if it will be good for the game but, what im sure is, we need to do something. We can't keep going like this.

    Regards, Madoxx.

I rather have a slight buff in the support skills of the d/r

and also of course another buff in the aoe skills.

So let me understand. You want more support and at the same time more aoes. Isn't that broken? xD

We have way more than enough supports, partys are full of them. Most of the times we even have more supports than real dps.

Tested d/r in rofl. Last buff to aoes was interesting but they are still a joke. Less than half than any other dps (we had ch/wl, r/wd) and im sure that is half of any mdps i use: m/s, m/ch, m/r...

In single dmg is good, yes as good as rwd if the boss is longer as astaroth. In shorter boss like balton it was worse (for example).

In conclusion, I would remove whatever group sup skill this class have and focus it completly to dps. In overall dmg in rofl is 15-20% under other mages (didn't include op mk or sm tho).

    static is 3rd

55% dmg is from 2 elite skill m/k

    edit

ilumination and stars or something like this i dont remember

The combination of most mages is: Static field + 1 elite spammabke skill + thunderstorm + iss aoe. Some don't have that extra elite skill like mch or Mr but they have other passives instead.

M/k is exactly the same just changing static field for stars (I didn't even check if this is still the case or static is better, idk. Point is using one or the other, not both) and that spammable elite is a copy of thunderstorm. At the end is the same mechanic as rest of mages.

If is overperforming as everyone say, adjust the numbers of the skills. I'm totally against changing the mechanics of how mages work.

Having aoe as main skills means the class have more sustained aoe. As negative part, single dmg is terrible. I'm OK with that. I wouldn't want all classes to work exactly same way.

If you prefer single dmg there are other classes like d/r, a few warlocks (true they might need some love) etc.

The only exception is probably m/s, it has less sustained aoe but more single dmg.

    Regards.

I imagine m/k got a buf because when all mages got 15% extra static field buff months ago, m/k didn't.

I don't know how the class is performing right now, I'm just thinking that could be the reason.

try m/k. it is a monster now :D

Tried it one hour before, even with r/w and pulling many mobs, have dwarven ale up to spam your AOEs, you cannot reach the dmg of m/k

    Sounds tempting :P

I guess you mean in aoes or?

From "lets remove blood arrow on scouts" to "lets add blood arrow to all mages". Your words, not mine. When there is something you don't like, you instantly change into, why mages don't have this bad thing too? I don't hate you, I used to agree with you months ago on many posts but idk whats wrong with you lately that u can't focus on your own classes. Doesn't matter what the subject is, mage will always appear on ur post.

I think its time to do math again because you keep saying "26/27" classes. We are talking about dps here, not supports, not healers and not tanks. Mages does NOT have 26 dps.

    -Mages: 8 mdps, 1 support.

    -Warlocks: 5 mdps, 1 support, 2 support/heal (mostly useless), 1 tank.

    -Warden: 1 mdps

    -Scout: 2 mdps.

-Priest: 1 mdps (assuming we can call this "dps")

    -Druid: 2 mdps

If we count the 3 healers combinations used as dps we have 19. You see? not so far from your 17 right? 16 without s/p I imagine?

Something you also never say: chain classes CAN use leather. Ive seen leather geared people using chain classes doing exact same dmg than using chain gear. Yes, we tested this. Guess the option to tank as champions or even to sup/heal is also there as any other chain could do. Many options for leathers too tho, using only 1 gear :)

About m/s. People use it because is the strongest? because they like it? who cares. Point is, they use it and blood arrow isn't a problem to any of them. Why would it be a problem for scouts? I didn't see any complains either when s/d was broken or with s/wd, etc. for those people blood arrow was just fine I imagine.

As you see, people can disagree with your propossal and that is not hate.

Managing Blood Arrow-type abilities should be a skill that a player develops when playing a class. At least you have to look at the screen when playing the game with a class that uses this skill.

And that's the definition of a scout? Thanks but no.

Maybe let's add a blood arrow to all mages? Let them upgrade their skills.

I totally don't like the idea of my character being attached and addicted to the heal. It doesn't matter how strong the heal is.

Could you please leave the mages out of all your leather proposals? Would be really nice for a change.

The most powerfull and used mages are probably mage/scout and mage/rogue and both have perma bleed... ^^

I don't understand this sudden huge effort to change blood arrow. Many classes have it (not only main scouts) and there are other bleeds in the game. Not a disadvantage in any raid.

I say they don't do balance because they are busy and you tell me I'm lost :D

I know classes aren't totally balanced (that is impossible to achieve btw, remember that). I didn't use a single word saying balance is over because classes are balanced. It is over because they have no time.

As I said many times, new ini will require a whole new balance so just ask for it when ini is out and we start farming it.

    Many edits :)

-I just don't understand why, with the same number of base classes, they have so many more options

I don't think checking the number of "base" classes should be the way here. We should use the total number of usable classes.

-Maybe create classes like s/m? For two eq (leather+cloth)

Im ok with that. I liked a lot how they created s/m, didn't even expect that was possible.

-I think the magic version of the s/m class is stronger than the physical one

    I agree.

-As for m/s, I just wrote that in my opinion it is too strong on slow runs, I did not even write that OVERALL is too strong

Sustained dmg is the main reason of this class (and many mages) if you nerf that then you might need to push its burst and balance would need to start again.

    - Or that mages are too strong and nerf mages. I do not see any hate here, if you see it, please prove it to me or apologize to me for wrongful accusations.

I don't need to apologize. Chains can dps, sup, tank and even heal (using only 1 gear). They have the same number of classes as mdps (even 1 more according to your calculations) but you still turn your whole history in "mages aren't fair" and you did that in literally 5 moments of your short post. You should focus on leathers having less playable classes than chains and mages without accusing mages of anything (according to you for chain is fair). Don't take me wrong, I think leathers should have more classes, same as I think they had to change the 3+3 into full dexterity gear but still, mages aren't the evil here. Didn't see any complains on a rogue being used by chain gear tho :)

About this whole thread and balance. I trully think we are typing here but not for now, only for the future. They made clear that can't continue with balance atm because have other things to do. With next custom ini whole balance will need to start over. Sustained classes will be op (add m/s here) and burst classes will be sad and thats normal. Another year of changes every week must come soon. :P

All your comments today are to hate mages... :|

I didn't know where to put this msg, please move if it is necessary.

I was checking new Ocean's set in charplan and Im really disappointed. Tank pieces are still only for physical tanks even tho since balance (almost a year ago) we have magical tanks. New custom ini (replacing rofl in some months) will also not have magical tank sets? Please reconsider this direction, items should be adapted to the game in 2021 and not to the classes we had 10 years ago.

    Regards.

I would say p/d and d/p with those Regenerate + Blossoming Life together is just insane. Checking scrutis ive seen people doing 50% of their whole run healing only clicking that skill once every 20s xD. For me d/s is fine even without camelia (is true is a bit sad and waste of time in most ocassions) is still a really nice heal. I would propose to nerf the Regenerate + Blossoming Life combo but ye, I don't want all healers in server hating me so... ^^

You can open you skills book ("k" by default) and you will have teleportation to few places: to your begining zone, probably reifort etc. Use one of those and then you can find your way to varanas easier. When you get there, be sure to open the snoopy dog and save your point there.
