There is no such thing in complete ready framework. It is just CSS issue that can not really be easily solved without some extra JS.

Both issues should be solved now. Please note that search button icon has been moved to top bar.

It works way better now. When i click in my notifications it does nothing. The red point in the up right corner.
team member pictures seem to be broken
Please try to clear your cache. Sadly remote cache clear is not working too good for these anymore.

Ok cache cleared I can see your picture now. Problem to click notifications is still there
