Indeed, the boss you are referring to is killed frequently, which indicates that it is highly available, but also highly competitive. We do care about activities like abuse and take them very seriously. However, competition for bosses is a different matter and is an intended aspect of the game.

I can assure you that there are no bots in COA, as we have robust detection systems in place and a team of active Game Masters monitoring the game. If any player suspects botting or any other form of abuse, they can always report it to our support team, and we will investigate the matter thoroughly.

The "Angry Jekarce" isn't part of the main questline, but a side-line quest means optional, so you can continue without completing it, and complete it when the boss is around during your further gameplay.

I looked into logs and in the last 3 days, this boss was killed 350 times (last one 3 minutes ago), by a few players, which is really high availability.

Everyone in our community is able to get access to this boss in the same way, including you, which means the competition is fair. The one who hit the boss first gets the loot, not the one who makes the highest damage, so it's also fine for low-level characters. Some bosses will be highly competitive, or even not available without much effort, which is an intended part of the game design.

Welcome to Chronicles of Arcadia! :)

Since COA is a multiplayer game, competition for access to bosses is an intended part of the gameplay experience. Sometimes, this competition may lead to a longer time required to complete specific quests.

Many players camp boss spawns in the hope of obtaining valuable items, commonly monster cards, which are a highly sought-after commodity. These cards can be used to enhance a player's abilities or traded with other players for other valuable items.

Regarding possible solutions that may help you complete these quests, one could be asking the players who are commonly found at the specific spot you need to access to whisper to you when the boss is up so that you can complete your quest. Most players are understanding and willing to help, especially if it's for a quest.

You can also DM me with the details of which boss you are looking to kill, and we can consider increasing the number of channels in that specific zone.

Please understand that increasing the spawn time would remove the competitive aspect of the game, which is a key element in COA.

    Dear Chronicles of Arcadia Community,

We prioritize your online security, and in keeping with our commitment, we're reaching out to share some crucial information.

    What Happened?

Recently, we identified unusual activity related to a select number of accounts. Upon investigation, it was found that another server had a security breach, resulting in the exposure of its user database, which includes email addresses and passwords. We have temporarily suspended accounts that had access attempts related to this leak.

    Am I affected?

If you have only played on COA - no.

If you played on other servers and used the same data on COA - there is a potential risk.

What's next if I may be affected?

    1. Change Your Password: If you've used the same login credentials on COA that you used elsewhere, we strongly advise you to change your password immediately including other services.
    2. Contact Support: If your account has been locked due to this incident, please reach out to our support team for assistance with unlocking it.
    3. Diversify Your Passwords: For optimal security, always use different passwords for different online services. Consider using a password manager to help you manage and generate strong, unique passwords for each online service.

    Stay safe, and happy gaming!

Every player has a unique perspective on the game, based on experience and personal preferences. Our intention is to take a holistic view based on a broad range of player inputs, and our data.

Indeed, there have been events where we've adjusted game mechanics post-launch. We do extensive testing and analysis before releasing new features, but predicting player behavior in a live environment can sometimes be challenging. Adjustments are occasionally necessary after observing real player interactions.

The essence of online games lies in their dynamism, their ability to evolve based on the ecosystem, and the feedback loop of the player community.

For your points regarding the cards value and the AoD, the fact that we have made changes post-launch is proving the commitment. If you have any other suggestions, please make sure you post them in the related thread.

all this change with gold are bad and destroy server idk why u try make gold important :) good times is when only dias are important nothing more and i think ppl remember this :) u just change economy server with no good reason :)

this is even bad for you, u have money when ppl no buy dias? for me this is second worst decision in history this server :) 1st is when i change good system with new instances when we upgrade almost everything u start do thing like aod/nostalgia(but with artifacts, this with hoto 2 items is goodin my opinion) and DC 4 items ;x

The decision to increase the importance of gold was taken to diversify the in-game economy. While diamonds have their significance, relying solely on one currency can make the game's economy stagnant and predictable. By introducing a balance between diamonds and gold, we hoped to create a more dynamic and engaging economic environment.

The game's monetization strategy, like any business, needs to be sustainable. While diamonds are a crucial part of our revenue stream, it's essential to ensure that the in-game economy is healthy and diverse. A well-balanced economy can lead to a more engaged player base, which, in turn, benefits the game in the long run.

It's always a challenge to introduce new systems or modify existing ones, as it's nearly impossible to please everyone. The introduction of the new instances and the changes in item upgrades were done to keep the gameplay fresh and challenging. We acknowledge that not every decision will be universally loved, but we always strive to create content that the majority of our players will enjoy.

While we might not revert the recent changes immediately, we're continuously monitoring the game's economy and player feedback to make informed decisions in the future.

With the release of new content and features, the demand for gold within the game may indeed increase.
We brought back Agnes NPC, but with a cap, mainly to keep the gold flow in check.

The adjustments we've made are based on data analysis. Such economic changes, especially in a dynamic online environment like ours, require observation over a significant period to see their full effect. This is to ensure that we don't make decisions that might disrupt the balance we are aiming to achieve.

Right now, we're not planning to change the gold limits or prices. But rest assured, we're keeping a close eye on how things are going, especially with gold coming in and out of the game, and keeping your feedback in mind!

Siege War "Surrender Card" (ID 1248305) can be used before the time that is in the description (10-20 minutes)

Furthermore maybe it's a better solution that the enemies get rewards independent of activity score if you surrender

The issue has been fixed with the recent update.

We are currently looking into the reason of the issue.

The login process may not always work during the investigation.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Duebrithil!

We understand your nostalgia for the 'good old days', the challenging grind, and the joy of prestigious rewards. Balancing the needs of a diverse player base is a complex task. Some players appreciate the chance to accelerate their progress, while others, like your group, prefer a more classic, slow-paced MMO experience.

In the past, we've experimented with a legacy server, offering an experience without XP, TP, and LVL boost options. Initially, it drew a large crowd, but over time interest waned as the challenge and novelty faded. As for the COA, we've already lowered the rates, introduced an "experience modifier" and "experience blocker" for players who prefer a slower leveling pace, and made many adjustments to help newcomers adjust to your preference for the old-school experience. The left boosts are designed to make the journey easier without significantly impacting the server as a whole. We also haven't ruled out the possibility of further integrating legacy features into the current server.

The high-attribute monster cards are a tiny fraction of our card system, with the majority being low-value. They can be further customized, offering an added layer of strategic gameplay. We encourage you to explore this system more: Wiki, Patchnotes, Video1, Video2.

Many of our Item Shop items, including skins, have been added based on player requests. We strive to provide different avenues for players to obtain items - through exploration, diamonds, or other activities even out of the game.

Diamonds, our premium currency, can be obtained in various ways, and we're planning to introduce more soon. This guide outlines some methods of obtaining them for beginners.

We appreciate your commitment to the game and your constructive feedback here and in Discord 👏
