Are we going to have to captcha every time we try to come to the forums?
No, currently it should only appear if traffic made by the user is unusual.
We may also enable captcha sometimes to let the web running during a DDOS attacks.
At the end, we are looking for a way to make us resistant to attacks, and keeping the web easy to use.
You may PM me, and i will look for your particular case.

Edit: because others seems to be online... is it now a solution, that you get temporarly banned from login, if you login multiple accounts at the same time? I hope that this is not the ddos solution :O but I was kicked out as I tried to login a 5th account

If you log in immediately to a lot of accounts, it may be recognized as suspicious activity.
It should be a temporary, until we will build own firewall for the COA.
I successfully logged in to 6 accounts, when logging in them one by one.
Please try to do that that way.

Hmm can it also happen, if I log into all characters of all accounts, to spin the wheel of fortune? Because that is what I do

It most likely depends on the amount of connections from same network, especially if established in short period of time.

It was a short disconnect, caused by incorrect configuration on third party company side.
There wasn't any attack at this time.
I like how you are honest and care.
Server is online but I can't get logged in. Connection failed. Check your connection or firewall and try again. Then it says connection failed on 2nd attempt to log in.
The server is still under maintenance until further notice.
You may see it switching online / offline, but logging in to zone is currently not possible.
