Before anything, I am happy to see that some work is finally being done on cards system. It felt sad for years to be totally ignored.
That being said, It is hard to tell without testing the whole thing but, from first view, there are 2 things that are needed for me to use the system.
1. As Lutine says, spending as less resources as possible, is a must.
- How it seems to work: We pick 4x atributes and we will get them in the same order we pick in the interface. Am I right? If so, that means using 2-3x times more stones than the current system.
- How it should be: We select 4x atributes and system stops as soon as 1 of those 4 are there. Order doesn't matter.
2. Thresholds. It sounds good to have them but, as numerical value is not enough. Cards have different maximum values. If instead of these exact numbers we have the option to use %, we could mix cards. Doesn't matter if max value is 10, 20 or 50... if we have % and we type there 80%, it will find the value of 80% of the max value ignoring the type / color of the card.
Without these 2 things, the system in the current state is not changing much.
