I could care less about your disappointment with the weapon; and I am positive majority of ppl did not finish all 5 sets and even if you did, there is a lot of time till next content to make 2 new gold accessories and sell/trade other to other players

Having to redo any items in your gear to adress any changes made to them is connected to losses for the player, you can not expect to be able to sell the "old" pieces for exactly their cost.

Making any changes to those items now and forcing active players to redo their gear to keep it optimal kind of punishes them compared to those who did not invest as much time into the game up to now.

So all items should be final in their state when implemented/acquirable in the game, except there is a grave need for balancing purposes. Otherwise I see no reason why any changes should be made to items and I dont see such reason in this case.

Every player should be thankful to be able to grind inis for 2 items less to have the optimal gear, the only point I see and as you pointed out yourself, is wanting full golden/ultimate gear for aesthetics, but then you have to deal with suboptimal performant gear.

    Simple choice imo.

So why make this even a topic here. If devs were aware of this, noone is at any disadvantage. If devs were not aware of this and chose to do nothing about it, noone is at any disadvantage. If they decide to change items now, just because not everyone is going to get 5 ultimate accessory pieces, many players (those who already finished gear and those who now will have to grind longer to complete their gear) will be at a disadvantage.

Additionally here is another rather fun fact, not really connected to the previous topic, but since you mentioned:

...there is a lot of time till next content to make 2 new gold accessories...

At multiple times and occasions the publisher and the dev team pointed out, that the ultimate gear should not be considered the "usual" gear for this content, but something extra rewarding for the very active players and that not everyone is supposed to be aiming to complete this ultimate gear, but "only" the red one.

Why this indeed was a very unhealthy approach I also already pointed out at multiple occasions a long time ago.
    Now my point being is:

As the most active players are done by now with their ultimate gear and more and more less active players are following in completing it, I am wondering if we are soon to expect new content with new and even stronger sets of gear.

Otherwise, if the majority of players running rofl completes this gear, the whole original idea behind the ultimate gear would somehow miss its purpose, wouldnt it?! :/;)

I really am looking forward to a publishers statement concerning this issue.&)

    Cheers!

    1) Since balancing is taking place, i wonder one extra addition that could be implemented while balancing is at works is addition of ISS on the golden gear, say top 4 pieces for chain/leather/cloth - would be really nice for a change to have a custom gear with custom set

ISS on (Chamber of Elements) custom sets have more or less already been confirmed by Grox months ago and I support this very much, no idea how far along that idea has come in that time.

I also oppose the other suggestion, due to already stated reasons.

However for tanks for example there is absolutely no reason to use 5 ultimative pieces, mainly because the stamina stat on rings is lower than the str/dex/int stats on other rings, making the 2-pieces-DN-setbonus even stronger...I am wondering why this is the case and if this is intended....:/

    Cheers!

    Hey!

The adds have different buffs and you need to use those potions on the adds according to their buffs to remove their color.

Once all colored buffs are white, you can kill the adds for the boss to spawn.

    Have fun!

What Amzi just wrote is 100% what I thought reading your reply...

To me it also seems like you want to find and point out negative aspects of this server.

You asked for players opinions, you got them and the fact they are based upon and all you do is opposing them, so why did you ask in the first place?

The fact that you make such a big deal about your "bad feelings" title shows that you had your mind made up all the time, not being open minded about this topic, because giving the thread a neutral headline is the correct way while being "undecided". So I support the title change the mod did.

I believe only few ppl write here on the board, because this is an international server where lots of players are not that fluent in english, not being able or not confident enough in their language skills to participate in a discussion like this.

Furthermore I doubt many more ppl will join this discussion, after reading your reactions, at least I wouldnt if I already had not entered.

Also not everyone checks the board all the time, is at work/school, or did not have the opportunity yet to reply for various other reasons.

And again we go to that "subtle psychological enforcement" where you give me a choice (how nice from you btw), but we both know that the choice given is more expensive than the real price.

Since you already made the unfitting comparison to WoW:

Afaik even the subscription for WoW is cheaper if you subscribe for 12 months instead just one and you can see this pricing behaviour for services being quite common all around the world, so why point this out in a negative way specificly for this server?

Furthermore is saying that VIP is a "must have" for you while trying out the server to determinde if its worth for you to play here, thus being forced to pay to try out, a very peculiar way of thinking where you have to understand that only very few ppl share it.

If all those aspects dont suit you, just dont play, but please dont try to tell players, who have been here for years, what is good and what is bad considering the publishers decisions.

All in all I take you for a person that thinks too much in just black and white, try to see the gray area for once.

I personally also dont like everything about this server and every decision the publisher makes, thats when I give them negative feedback.

However all in all for me its worth the amount of time I spend here. If i have more fun, i spend more time and if I have less fun, I spend less time, but after all I have fun while being here.

Thats the gray area I mentioned.

For you this means: You dont need to commit entirely to this game from the start. Start playing and have fun, once you come across too many negative aspects just stop playing, yet you still had fun up to that point. If you already see too many negative points, just move on, but asking for others opinions and starting this discussion is pointless. For all sides.

    Peace out!

Melodic is just everywhere... i mean everywhere... its creepy...

...and here I am, creeping in....

Although almost everything i had to say was already said, I just want to add that, from an endcontent players' perspective, the VIP thing indeed is far from "a must".

I think of it as a quality of life thing, which in fact mostly helps beginners, thats when you use all those reset tickets and the weapon trainer for example.

I didnt do the math for the limited option, however for the lifetime VIP you need to play actively for about 2 years for it to pay off.

So if you dont plan (yet) to play this long here, I would not recommend chosing this. Also there is the option to gift a VIP membership, I gifted a trusted guildmate a fair amount of diamonds I earned ingame and in return he gifted me VIP, so you can get even that while playing for free.

Overall considering the f2p aspect, in no MMO I found a better balance between time/cash investment to reach your ingame goals and compared to other servers/games its quite easy to reach the endgame, purchasing diamonds just makes it even faster.

Once you reached the endgame and regularly run instances, the game actually pays itself.

    Small note on chat activity:

Check >this< out, if you feel like noones chatting.

Though some days are quieter, some days are busyer.

    ....quickly creeping out again...

    Cheers!;)

    Moin!

    1. Ganz klares Nein.

    Cheers!

This may not count as feedback, however its a suggestion/question somehow related to the class balancing, so i will just drop it here, feel free to move it somewhere else if you think of a better place: ;)

Do you plan to implement eliteskills for class combinations, such as Scout/Warlock or Knight/Champion or Warden/Priest, that do not have any yet?

I believe now while you are changing a lot to all the classes and their skills and introducing whole new functions to some classes might a be good opportunity to do this.

Looking forward to the dev-teams and other players points of view on this.

    Cheers!

Reading the latest thread right in the sub-forum where you created your post and also some threads in the general headline forums should help you find your way, recently there have been a bunch of new players asking almost the same.

Furthermore reading a few of the most recent patchnotes and Game Features isnt a bad idea, since there are lots of changes being made.

Have a good start here :)

    Cheers!

This has been suggested over a month ago now, and neither have we seen a change here ingame nor has any Dev commented on this suggestion.

If you are not going to implement physical boni to these skills please tell us and why.

I dont see any reason why physical priests should not benefit from those skills, especially after you took all the effort to change p/w to be a viable and fun to play dps.;)

2.Farm Cards from Monsters . Either the rather "easy" ones who give less diamonds or the more rarer but more expensive ones ( if u are looking to get into that branch , whisper me ingame i need some cards :) )

Another option the get cards that are good for sale are the monthly events that take place in Varanas, Dalanis and sometimes Obsidian Stronghold. There are lots of different custom cards for each event and some are rare enough to be sold for a few thousand dias.

Almost all those events can be done with starter gear or even without gear at all, so its well suited for staters.

If you are not familiar with those events yet, you can find info for each one of them in the respective patchnotes on the homepage.

    Cheers:thumbup:

As far as I know morphclock hasnt been working for a while due to changes in the item shop, however if you just leave out the ZZTimeNDate Plugin and all those fixes like the .os-fix and 303 update the rest of the addon should work fine.

Having the clock on screen isnt that important id say 8o

Yes I can confirm, I am using some plugins of it as well. Plugins as the backpack plugin however might not function perfectly without minor changes, because the backpack size for example was increased to 360 slots not too long ago.

For the first 180 slots it works fine tough.

    Welcome to Paradise!

From what I can take from your post, I believe you have come to the right place. ;)

    "Short" answers to your points:

    1. Basicly yes. BUT: The amount of crashes/critical errors has been massively reduced a while ago. You can acually play the game on max. graphical settings without getting crashes every few minutes, but only occasional. I am playing on nearly max. settings and only some effects disabled, having only 1-2 crashes per day. Maybe some dev can you give an answer with more technical background here.

    2. I would say yes, considering how much influence a community generally can have on a publisher. Usually the team is quite close to the community, actually listening to feedback and making their own decisions based on what the community says and what they think is right. They always are open to suggestions during that process, but dont expect to find everything the community wants implemented into the game.

    3. Up to lv97 content its the same, going on from there the instances from Runes of Magic start to differ more and more, atm we are waiting for their release of the New Pantheon. Additionally CoA have released a bunch of their own custom content, completely new designed instances with gear and stats and also one new Worldboss.

    4. Hard to tell, the server and in particular older zones are not really crowded, but there are enough daily active players to have a good gaming experience. I would say there are about 15 active guilds that are doing daily ini-runs throuhgout all content, but its hard to tell for me and seemingly this number is increasing bit by bit lately. The Auction house also is far from being empty.

    5. You can have all classes/races/combinations/crafting professions etc on one char, but using alts is also allowed.

    6. Yes, everything that is solo-able in Runes of Magic is also here, even more, since the custom gear is stronger you can to a lot more by yourself.

    7. What I like most about endcontent here is that most bosses are event driven and force you to play events of some kind, the known "3-2-1-go-*boss dies few secs later*"-mechanic almost does not exist here. Most bossfight take roughly 5 minutes, some are faster some take longer, the custom worldboss (released almost 3 years ago iirc) still takes about 15-30 minutes to kill, depending on how fast you play his event.

Besides endcontent there is a lot more stuff that you can do, you can find some threads of newcomers where that is discussed here on the board, but the focus of most players seems to be running the endcontent.

Have to good start here and a ton of fun.

    Cheers!

I believe I found the same location as your screenshot is taken from, hard to compare to your graphic settings :saint:

This screenshots is taken from a recording from 2.7., didnt have any more recent recordings of that part of ini:

    https://gyazo.com/f744758ac7954b4b9992c81f5e84085d

I hope that screenshot is enough as confirmation for you.

So no, we have never seen those mobs in that part of instance, not in our first run not in our most recent runs today.

Maybe other guilds can also confirm.

As far as I know you also should be able to check which mobs have been killed how many times, that should clearly show you, comparing it to other mobs, if those worms spawn for anyone at all....:/

This card isn't supposed to drop from boss event creatures. There are same creatures in next part of instance which is dropping mentioned card, it is tested and confirmed.

Thanks for letting us know, but....how well hidden is that part of instance? Has anyone already discovered it? Because there are 100% no such mobs on the usual way onwards to endboss.... :/

    Hey Grox! Sure I can.

Titles having skills does not seem to matter, I have the same lags switching between two titles both with skills, between two titles both without skills and between titles one with and one without skills.

On both my main and my alt I have all four regular actionbars in use, with all skillslots filled. No extra action bars.

    Examples for makros I use:

    Code
    /run t=GetCurrentTitle()
    /run SetTitleRequest(530592)
    /wait .1
    /cast Wille des Eisenbluts
    /wait .3
    /run SetTitleRequest(t)t=nil
    Code
    /run t=GetCurrentTitle()if(IsCtrlKeyDown())then SetTitleRequest(530574)else SetTitleRequest(530584)
    end
    /wait .3
    /run if(IsCtrlKeyDown())then CastSpellByName("Mitternachtsritual")else CastSpellByName("Taktisches Zerschmettern")end
    /wait .5
    /run SetTitleRequest(t)t=nil

Though I have the same lags while switching titles manually, using those makros without using variables or the skills and even with longer /wait-timings, however then the fps drops are not as bad, since the two switchings do not occur as fast after each other.

    Thanks so far!;)

We have reported this several times and have been told that the card (card-ID 777406) from the worms at b3 Jerath is dropable and that it would have been fixed at some point, but still the worms still behave the same as on day 1 when they die having no loot at all, making me doubt that it really has been fixed. So please take another look at this and check if the card is truly obtainable.

Furthermore I have a small suggestion also for b3 event: All the debuffs from the worms each being one individual debuff are causing some performance issues for some players in some situations.

My idea to solve this would be to make this debuff a stackable debuff that stacks for each worm targeting you, resulting in the same dmg per second you take with just the one stacked debuff.

    Thanks for taking your time.

    Cheers!

"Reduced lag occuring while swapping titles."

After this change I now have zero lags on my alt, while having small fps drops before, however on my main the issue still remains the same way before. About 50% fps and below for ~3sec. This is 100% independent of my addons, I use the same with both chars and tested without addons again after patch.

So maybe you can take another look at that, in any case thank you very much for adressing the issue at all!

Another issue with the skill Touch of Revival (498769) has been bothering me for a while now:

Though there werent any recent changes made to this skill, the healing done by it is reduced by about a third for every target healed, resulting in only healing myself for the full amount and the most distant ally healed (most times the tank) for the least points, some times less than 10k.

This is not mentioned in any skill descriptions so I am wondering if this intended or not. If it is, please change the loca.

In any case I would appreciate a change to this skills mechanic to heal everyone for the same amount, to make it a more viable and safe-to-use healing skill.

Lastly there are some issues for tanks regarding the recent changes you made to physical light dmg etc where you changed all that dmg to be pure magical.

Now no more than two tank combinations in the entire game are able to (not even sufficiently) build aggro on physical immune mobs, because they are immune to everything you do.

Before Knights were able to hit magical and physical, being able to tank any one-sided immune mobs without having /mage as sec-class.

Now you are forced to use certain tank-combinations to be able to kill Bosses like for example Aldo, which really kills the idea of class-diversity.

So please reconsider these changes and their impact on existing and possible future content in the game.

    Cheers!

    Hello there!

I like the idea of changing the minigame, though I never had the urge to suggest any changes, as soon as I read Yibsis post I had some ideas:

    Changing the rewards:

Some more various rewards to buy for Atlas Scrolls could be added, for example bufffood, mats (also those for lv 1-99), some new event-titles (with lvl V for title system).

Prices for existing rewards could be adjusted and/or Atlas Scrolls from the chest increased.

Also I like the idea to be able to buy the Golden Wings for a fixed price.

They have been "exclusive" for quite a while now and I believe making them acquirable for everyone in a certain way wouldnt harm anyone. As Yibsi suggested they should have a compareably high price though.

    Changing the minigame itself:

    - Adding various spawn locations on the map to force players to move around. Standing in just one spot is the most boring aspect of the minigame. The map you created for this minigame gives prenty of possibilities for that.

    - Maybe add some "special" and quite elusive extra-mobs that spawn at random times in random locations that you have to hunt while defeating the usual waves, to get some extra points/rewards in the end.

    - Give all spawning mobs/waves/bosses a larger variety of skills/buffs/debuffs, so that we dont have to kill 25 times the same type of monsters that only have diffferent models.

    - Add some points/areas where players have to stay for a while to capture them, by stacking a certain amount of buffs over time to close rifts or something from where the mobs are spawning.

    - Maybe have all these events trigger in random order each time the minigame is started, so that players have a slightly different experience each time.

(- Maybe make players dying less punishing, by adding more NPC's for defense or move the respawn point directly outside the portal and not outside in Atlas on the beach)

    - While considering any changes, please be careful to allow the minigame to have a good performance, (multiple) players crashing during the minigame also can be quite punishing.

I would appreciate a more interesting atlas minigame very much, I liked the idea of it form the start and saw great potential in it, but it always felt rushed and "immature".

    Cheers!

Can't say this often enough apparently:

You should always compare players with similar gear and skill-lvl to get reasonable results about how classes compare to each other and look at an entire run, not just specific situations, because obviously here different strengths and weaknesses of classes come into play.

    *cough*
