starts without displaying the interface

    Hello.

    My game client regularly starts without displaying the interface, as if Ctrl+Z had been pressed.

    ESC does nothing.

    Neither does Ctrl+Z.

    I have to close the client through the application manager.

    Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Is there a known solution?

    For further troubleshooting, we need some additional information from you. A screenshot of your game window would also be helpful when the issue occurs.

    • When did the issue first start?
    • Does it happen every time or only occasionally?
    • Have you tried disabling your add-ons through our launcher to see if that resolves the issue?
    • If you have it enabled, try to disable "Performance Optimisation / FPS Boost" in your settings.

    Is this "File Integrity Report" generated automatically by the launcher?

    After launching Windows and the launcher, the client runs the "File Integrity Report" every time it starts up. I don't know if this is related to the bug I mentioned at the beginning of the post.

    The launcher does not respond when the fault is present.

    It started in September; I didn't launch the game in July or August.



    • Does it happen every time or only occasionally?


    This issue appears randomly.



    • Have you tried disabling your add-ons through our launcher to see if that resolves the issue?

    Create a backup, clear the contents of the "interface\addons" folder, and restart the game... the issue occurs randomly when loading a character, starting a game session, or switching characters.


    =>I'll try emptying the "documents\Chronicles of Arcadia" folder as well.

    Hello.


    After clearing out the "addon" folder, the "file integrity report" ran upon the first launch of the game but didn't appear on subsequent startups.


    I reinstalled the addons, and the issue no longer occurs.


    While troubleshooting, i discovered that another program "CompatTelRunner.exe: Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry" was overloading my PC; I disabled it via "services.msc," and everything has been working fine since.


    I am currently manually restoring my interface, hotkeys, and macros (rather than using a backup file).


    I am still getting some addon error messages, so I plan to use the "/bug" command.
