using pop-up object (F)

Hello : My shortcut key (setting/hotkeys/action/use object popup) for using pop-up objects no longer allows me to interact with the resources (ore for grass) available on the ground.

This impacts all three professions, opponent loot, and interaction with in-game objects.

Like : Storage box in barren Caves

I reset the hotkey settings to default. Rebooted, same result.

I went into the game's settings menu, reset the settings, and removed all add-ons. I restarted the game, and it's still the same: I can't interact with objects using the F key.

The interaction pop-up doesn't appear when I'm near an object.

I found it: game settings/ user interface/ controls/ NPC highlight/ pop-up object must be checked.

I think this setting got unchecked after an update. It's not the first time this has happened; I think the last time I had to completely uninstall and reinstall it.
