About Gear-Progression as a Tank

    i played for a few years in the past and returned now after some years of break. I always loved tanking and still do. But sadly it feels still useless to gear up as a tank. It doesnt feel rewarding to make gear with new stats, higher tier or higher wepon tiers. Compared to dds you literally need nothing to tank the endcontent.


    Before my break as a healer it was the same. But now healers have the the possibility to have an effect on their buffs with their wisdom. maybe you can think about make the power of a tank more depending on the gear ... for example by scaling the aggro with the stamina or sth. like that :)

    I don't know if you saw the changes on the skills of champ, warden and knight ISS. But right now the def buff of champs, HP buff of wardens and "shield buff" of knights depends on their stats (defense / HP).

    I can understand your concerns, it is like this rn because grafu got nerfed significantly since release.

    At the begin as far as i remember tanks had a pretty hard life surviving espicically the endboss (anne). But after release grafu got nerfed a few times and as lutine already mentioned class balancing helped tanks and party to get a lot more surviveabillity inside inis therefore those changes that where made (mostly) for grafu, also made lower content a lot more easy while at the same time made it worth playing warden tanks again etc.


    Proly with next content it will be different again since new instances are always pretty challanging at the start.


    i could also imagin that those changes where made to promote playing tank since the server has only a small amount of tanks but thats just my assumption

  • Yes warden tanks are superior now and far ahead of knights atm in terms of aggro, group protection and support. Knights has only better own survivability.

    Champ tanks are at the bottom of the list atm
