Hey,
I crafted 1 Golden Fishing Rod and sadly noticed, that it has a duration of only 1 hour 
There is no advice in the recipe or the item description.

And there was one more bad surprise ... I had equiped over 600 lures ... the despawned with the golden fishinh rod
Lures restored after equiping a new fishing rod.
