2) I've never seen an explicit statement in the docs, but can we create more than one character. If so, can they be played simultaneously on the same team

1. Yes, you can have all 11 classes on a single character. To do this, you need to use the Race Change Item/Class Maximum Expansion Ticket (available in the Item Shop) to switch your race to Elf or Dwarf. This will allow you to select classes like Druid, for example.
2. You can have up to three game clients open simultaneously, but only one character per account can be active/online at the same time (so you would need a seperate character at a different game account)

So, is my path to a dual class character always going to run thru the Race Change Item/Class Maximum Expansion Ticket (available in the Item Shop), which I probably can't afford?
no it isnt, all 3 races have a lot of classes to chose from but some classes are only for a specific race but you can get up to 3 classes for free before you need to get a class slot voucher also you can get a lot of different combinations already even without the classes from other races. But if you want a specific class that your starting race does not have you would need to at least switch race once to obtain the class.
This isnt realy unfair since you are able to see that aswell in the charackter creation already.
Also it isnt expensive to get those vouchers and you can get diamonds for free and various other things through playing the game ( newbie guild etc.)

I think that I might simply get a secondary class like Rogue, which is compatible with my primary of Knight or even Priest (both in humans). So what are the mechanics that I need to perform to get that secondary class? (This is probably easier than I think, but right now I don't see anything in the UI saying "For Class Redistribution, Press HERE".
