Gold Economy

Chciałbym się dowiedzieć, co miało na celu obniżenie ceny przedmiotów z instancji lov lv do farmy złota? Wydajność gospodarstwa spadła średnio o 300 tys. na minutę.

We weren't adjusting sell costs of any items outside of few custom rings 1 month ago, which hadn't been sold to NPC in last 6 months.

    Greetings

  • If the number of items he sells has not decreased, and the amount of gold he gets, I think there have been many more changes. I've spent a lot of hours on the farm and I see a lot of drops in productivity

  • Hi,

According to my observations ( personal feeling )

Gold has become harder to gain over the last months while I was inactive.

What I mainly think is the source of this is that now it's basically close to impossible to farm Vale of Rites for gold.

I understand the changes to drop rates since drop system was heavily outdated for endgame players but even as a endgame player it now is hard to gain gold from Rites ( close to impossible ).

That currently only leaves players with one way of gaining gold through fishing which is a deal breaker for many people that don't want to just stay at the river waiting for anything + it takes a lot of time to reach lvl 100 on fishing in the first place.

Also those changes made it insanely hard for newbies to gain gold and sell it to make some starting dias to set foot into the game.

It's also got nearly impossible to gain the needed amount of gold for weapons, cards and even guild buffs with that drop rate change since it's nearly impossible to gain enough if we can only run vales of rites with full drop buff's. This also is a issue because we also need the drop buff's for grove in order to gain echos....

I therefore would like to suggest that Vale of the rites gets excluded from the new drop rate system or rates get adjusted so that players can gain gold like before (3,5-5m) per run.

Restoring drop rate for one instance is not possible from technical standpoint, nor planned. The change is made to further improve balance across the entire game. VoR with buffs is still reasonable gold farm that is higher than most other sources in terms of raw output, without buffs it is naturally worse, but this is important reasoning behind such changes, that drop effects feel impactful again.

This also is a issue because we also need the drop buff's for grove in order to gain echos....

Worth noting that drop rate is scaling with entire party and using droprate of highest member, meaning that only one player is required to buff drop rate from 12 man group.

Changes to gold economy often effect newbies positively, as many sources favour newbie players, this is core reasoning for multiple changes towards gold economy in the past and the future, this can be seen by monitoring the price that gold is selling for diamonds.

Points about fishing is valid - but fishing is providing lower gold than most other sources in terms of raw gold output per player per hour, just the appeal to it is the reason that is is most likely popular, limited attention required, cards etc. This may be adjusted in future to further distribute players around other sources if deemed a problem based on logs etc.
