Why, after changing the stones, I have no choice what kind I can replace it, but it happens randomly?!? !!?!?! Since I was buying a stone before and knew what I wanted to buy, why now do I have to count on rng to change the stone?!?! You really showed off with this pack
Reworked Monster Cards [Patch 10.4.1.1000]
-
-
3 decks is 3x 2500 x 4 randomness attributes. Do you really think it's a good change? Additionally, there are cards that can only be obtained once. What about them? You chose one of the worst possible solutions to the problem. From the perspective of "new" players, you raise your entry attempts too high. Rather, this change will not attract new players.
-
#stop_rng
Just let us use 8x attribute in each card that will be the best option

But 8 is not enough xd should be 11

Ok few comments about the changes.
1. Added 3 decks. With NEW 2500 cards to farm, again. I don't know how you didn't see this was a problem. You have any idea how much time and money do we need to get them? Boy put your wallet on the table moment? Im speechless how far from your community you are right now.
2. System to use the stones. Well is a change. For me, who already used the stones before this, is just a different way to use them. Not good or bad, just different.
3. Reduce the number of stones in the system. Many people asked for this and it will make it easier to understand. Is a good change since more people will try to use it. After a few tries they will still run away since most of the things we asked, well, were ignored. For me, this reduction in the number of stones is pointless, I will still use the same stones as I always used.
4. RNG. You reduced rng, better the stone, better the chance to get good things. I guess we won't see any numbers on how "better" it is now right?. Just tested blue currency, I guess it isn't part of the "good" currency. RNG was as bad as always, 70 (change the value on X atribute) stones to get 1 single atributte close to 80% of the max value (in this card was 16). I didn't even get higher than 11. This is a HUGE problem, can't wait the moment you see this. (btw this was 310 diamonds wasted and didnt even get 1 single atributte).
5. Reduction on stones prices. Let me put it in other way since people will get scammed reading patch notes thinking is an awesome change. Spoiler, it isn't. Here is the final math (private store):
Thank you for the green value, it got better. Blue and purple which are the majority of our spending money problem (specially blue) are just a shame. A pure scam to make people think they are now cheaper, they aren't!
Remove this asap, it makes no sense, why reduce the number of stones we can buy in each step? As I said, a back-door change so people don't really see what is going on with the price.
Paid (personal) store, changed free limits:
Etheric Soul Stone: 15 → 10.
Astral Soul Stone: 5 → 3.Etheric Soul Stone: Base markup 2d → 1d and every next 15 → 5 purchases +2d to base cost.
Astral Soul Stone: Base markup 8d → 6d and every next 3 → 2 purchases +5d to base cost.6. Reduce the amount of currency needed for each stone. For me this was never a problem idk. If you want more stones, farm more currency. Guess many people will like this change, less hours of farming.
Final thoughts. Disappointed. Its clear you read what we write. We say is expensive and you make stones cheaper but at the same time you make them worse in quantity so final price is the same. We ask for more decks for second classes and you force us to spend another million of diamonds to farm the cards we already have. Its like 1 step forward and 3 backward. Im trully waiting the moment you guys listen to us without putting your ego first or without thinking the worst ways to steal our wallets. If your final goal is to get our money, try to make the system cheaper so more people play/pay instead of trying to get our life time savings from barely the 10 players in server who dare to even do it.
A bug report. Magical Attack is missing in rankings. Also rankings are not right. It says your amount and your number in ranking but I can't see myself in some lists when Im supposed to be there xD.
Regards.

Thx for your post. After read it I will use the system like before: just ignore it
-
The previous 'card system' seemed to me unreadable and useless. Now it is better, it is easier for me to do understand it, faster and not complicated.
I did not count the details but Madoxx explained a lot, thanks.
As for these three decks, it seems to me that there can only be one active at a time? Correct me if I'm wrong. For example, 1st on patt, the second on HP build, and the third I dunno int/matt. If so, it is completely useless and there is nothing to worry about. I would just use the one I got and build it as I wish
-
And a question. What are ancient cards in the Ranking and how they are calculated?
An answer to this would be good. How is it possible that people have 4k+ amount of cards in ranking, if there are only ~2600 cards available? Bug?

Greetings,
At the moment there are some bugs that do not correctly display the information in the rankings. We will fix this in one of the coming patches. Please wait for it.

Alright ... The initial delight after reading the patch notes has passed ... And it's time for testing ...
At the beginning, the only good thing I can say about the changes. The mechanics of using stones are much nicer now, bravo for that.
Now it's time to criticize.
I find the way the game has developed recently to be regrettable, the latest patches are a perfect example of this.
The latest patch also does not differ from the standards.
We waited many months for favorable changes and the addition of more zones. And what did we get?
1) Changed the names of the stones !!! After half a year !!! Already at the very beginning I wrote that these names are idiotic and need to be changed, it was decided to do so after six months.
2) Stone prices dropped, wow its still ridiculously expensive
3) There are still limits on stones, store refreshments, cosmic costs, and everything is illogically more expensive, what kind of store is this where the first 10 loaves are free and the next ones are more expensive in an absurd way?
4) From the very beginning EVERYONE !!!! EVERYONE!!! EVERYONE!!!! EVERYONE!!!! EVERYONE!!! is complaining about that goddamn RNG !!!! And what did you do? Not much, still so much of it that after 40 mins I couldn't take it and threw all this upgrade to hell !!
It's a global politics, you're trying to milk us with diamonds in such a brazen way that I can't get it. Start listening to the players and do exactly what they want! And you are not creating some kind of hybrid that does not please anyone.
Can't you really make a patch for one time and voices about it won't be so extreme?
5) From the very beginning there was talk of the problem of playing with different classes and after six months you found a way to do it? Deck x3? That is shame! Do you really want players who have already bought diamonds to make another eq for a different class, have to buy a second and third Scylla card? Don't you understand that the cards themselves can be damn expensive?
6) The price of orange stones is thievery in broad daylight, attributes continue to increase by a pitiful amount, and using 40 stones to finally give me a value of 70-80% of one attribute is a scandal and mockery
-
To sum up. It was supposed to be a patch that would please everyone and it would finally be okay. And what? And <here a dirty word> ...
Today I realized that the time spent on this thread is probably the most wasted time in my life. Hopefully I won't force myself to write here and waste my time. I definitely give up card mechanics. I believe that mistake after mistake is made here. Players come up with much more reliable changes than the creators who, instead of introducing their ideas to the game, create a hybrid of their vision with the idea of some player and some invalid comes out of it.
We waited so long for this patch and in the opinion of most it has not changed anything, who was supposed to torture this system still does it, and who did not despise it still.
I will not appeal for anything or propose any changes because it does not make any sense.
I would just like to express my sadness that developers/designers are so detached from players' opinions and even if they want to milk them with diamonds, they cannot do it well.
I also think that we will probably wait for some changes again now because the patch was rather badly received. And here is what I wrote about. You come up with some ideas and do not present them for any verification to players. Someone is working on it and then there is a badly received patch that meets the expectations of players to a minimum extent. In short, it is your and our wasted time, as well as human resources.

my solution would be:
- make all attributes possible on a card
- implement an additional IS item, which will increase the attribute value of the card to the maximum. Cost of the item could be 1k? Dont know if it would be too less or much, but with ~2000 cards * 1000 diamonds = 2.000.000 you would need to upgrade all cards
-
Thank you all for your feedback, including criticism. We value every opinion and will try to make the card system better.

One additional point would be: maybe make a card bounded to the character, if such IS item is used for maximize a card

This is what I wrote about. Can't you propose changes to us in time? So that we can tell you what we think about it? Ultimately, we are the recipients of the product, we should know what we will get.
Now we will wait another few months for better times? And then what? Will we get another missed patch? Which will give us the same rng but in a liitle nicer form?

- make all attributes possible on a card
But please, only if the stats crafted on the cards will no longer be random... Adding all stats on all cards will heighten the RNG factor much harder.
Ignore what I said if you mean "All attributes" as a stat itself, not as a measure of quantity. -

We understand your frustration. The lack of premature information is justified by the fact that any changes that are planned can be cancelled, and in turn the player could expect this, as a result, players will be angry. With every new change we get feedback and yes, we do hear players' opinions, but that doesn't always mean that the changes will be exactly what you expect them to be.
No one has promised that there won't be an RNG in the card system. It will be, but we are working to make it more enjoyable and interesting.
We are always doing patches as fast as possible, when in the same time we are trying to make them bug-free, but it's not always possible.
The amount of possible issues with amount of code our DEVs are dealing with is huge, when considering how in how many different ways our players interacting with the game environment.

For class balance it works perfectly, you put the information after you get our feedback and we can give more feedback on that new information. You do a patch every 6 months because you aren't enough people I guess., I understand. In that time you have many many hours to get our feedback and do a work in progress together, not by your side and then patch it and realize it was a disaster.
Don't use the "players will be angry" as an excuse to not do it please O.o
If you have any doubt ask Byte, he did really decent with this planned change log thing. If also the changes have some extra information on why they are like that, even better. We don't need many patches over the next 2 years. Just 1 proper patch.
Greetings.

I think the same. RNG is a factor which I personally don't want, if I spend money. Therefore I can go in a casino.
So can we expect, that the card system will have be RNG forever? This would be a very helpful information for some players
I suggest another time: all 11 possible stats on a card. to avoid RNG implement an IS item which maximize all attributes on a card and make the card bound to player after use.
-
As for the monster cards, if you can already have 3 different sets of cards, does it make sense to have magic, physical and defense cards? And wouldn't it be worth going back to the original statistics on the cards? Their reduction somehow motivated me to do them.

Can you tell us why you want the core of this mechanic to be rng? I thought about it for a long time and I am not able to find logical arguments. Could you please help me understand?
EDIT:
I believe that a situation in which we have the value of an attribute, e.g. +25.0 patt, we use an expensive, orange stone to re-calculate the value of this patt and we enter +25.0 again.
In such a situation, the "process of drawing a new value" should repeat itself.
Note: I did 10 mins on another attempt to improve anything, that's too much

What did you do with the original card system? Haven't checked it out since its release and today realized what it is now... Are you serious in expecting the players to farm ALL ingame cards 3 times with perfectly rerolled values? In my around 4 years on this server, I collected not even half of 1 collection. This is just insane! The solution with different decks is just bad imo. Better let any card have any attribute and that's it. And I only need 1 single stone to reroll randomly any values of a card.
