Please anyone let me know here, or mailbox me in game if there's a guild I can join that's active in the PM of GMT+10 (about CET+9) for siege, instances, DN, etc. Haven't run many dungeons and willing to learn. All I'm doing is levelling weapons and dailies. Getting boring. I'm in an alt guild for badges at the minute. Thanks for reading.

I was in a nice guild, but the problem I have is most aren't on when I play. I miss the instances and siege. I've rarely gone on them and I'm still near to square one!

I'm looking for a guild from Australia, or a guild that's active at the time when I can play. I'm availlable from around 7am CET which is about 4pm AEST, I think (https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/cet - I'm +9)

I'd like to continue with those cenedril things and dailies, and learn these instances, DN, how to siege, all that stuff. I like the game but I'm getting bored.

Anyways, I'm on and off in game so please mailbox me as I'm back to levelling weapons and whispers will probably flutter away and never be seen. Ingame name is Gargoyle.

Hi there, not sure what's happened, hoping I can get a bit of help.

I have a few production skills higher than level 40 so I bought a "Crafting Skill Expert Expansion ticket" (lvl40-60) (Item 242688, http://www.rom-welten.de/database/view.php?id=242688)

After hitting level 40 I used the ticket. I then continued crafting, but I stayed on level 40.

Any idea what's happened, what I did wrong, or if it's a bug?

From the attachment you can see the sequence: bought the expansion ticket, used the expansion ticket, crafted 2 chests, but the level stays at 40.

    Thanks

I'd do what Megaswarden said: start the Morrok questline.

Go to the zone "Aotulla Volcano" on your main class in case you get hit. Double click Snoop to register.

Near Snoop there's a NPC called "Mysterious Torrog". Speak to him and it starts that questline. Follow it all the way through and you'll have no issues. Remember to pick up the free gear packages for your secondary.

Levelling your secondary is easy: quest on your primary for 10 levels above your secondary class, then cash them in (eg, if your secondary class is level 50, go to a zone for level 58+ and complete them with your primary, and cash them in with your secondary).

Occasionally there's a home sweet home sale for a 30-dayer which makes this easy.

    Gday

if you have time, can you please have a look at Warnorcken arena for the Enforcer's Belt item set skill (ISS) as I haven't seen it drop yet. There's two ISS for Unharmed Mage and Abyss Footsteps Warlock.

I've farmed all items and it'd be good to see this item #226430

Maybe it's just a matter of luck. I've done the instance scores of times.

    Thanks for reading 8o)

Wargod and others that are "pro-DN status quo", please stop trolling me and this thread.

This is a bona-fide issue for players. This post was created because many in the guild I was in had the issue, and I stood up for our view in this public place. They were aware of the thread when I put it in guild chat yesterday, and if they don't want to post here, it doesn't mean the issue isn't there as well as for others.

The only handouts I have ever asked for is information on how to play. In every instance I've gone on with the guild and others I've received nothing out of it - NOTHING, not even one drop of gear, one stone - absolutely zero. And you believe I'm in it for handouts.

The instance is hard because IT'S CONSISTENTLY CLOSED, ergo this thread.

ps, Wargod, your comments are without basis and also inflammatory. I ask you
to stop trolling and stay on topic about a resolution. If I remember
correctly Wargod, more than once I've bought gear from you and your
guildies for gold because they made errors by not listing them as
diamonds. Other than when I first started playing, I did not keep them. I
gave them back. Even that first time I resolved to fix it up, but your
general nastiness changed my mind that once. How you treated me when I was learning was awful and for no reason you're being
nasty again. Please stop. I don't understand why you come across like
you do against me. I've never done you wrong, in fact, giving you your stuff back is me giving handouts to you.

Being selfish has nothing to do with it. I have no idea how you reached that conclusion. There's no need for below-the-belt cheap shots.

People are entitled to an opinion; doesn't make it right or wrong. I see no value in what has preceded this post. No need for people to be inflammatory for a genuine discussion. It will be appreciated if people will cease being derogatory and making assumptions then crying about no respect.

I see no practical solutions on the subject matter. This thread is not about the status quo.

Please, before posting, be considerate to my original post with a view to solutions. I do not believe the status quo is a solution. I look forward to a positive discussion.

I take it you're both in good guilds with good equipment.

I don't respect your opinion or Warbog. It's very clearly self-preservational and one assumes persons are farming and closing to the detriment of others. No angst against anybody, so have my virtual high five.

As I say: this thread is a solution thread for myself and others Not sure why people posting here can't grasp the concept. Please post solutions here, not self-serving opinions about those closing the instance so they can improve wealth to the detriment of others.

To summarise, suggestions about how the situation can be improved for people following the quest line will be appreciated. This is not a post for wealthy self-serving characters to deny change for others.

It isn't, Wargod. Clearly. Otherwise I wouldn't post. I assume your guild closes it, probably recently. How ... convenient for you to not want to change the mechanics.

This thread is about solutions for people to effectively do the quest, especially if undergeared, and not about players maximising their profits. I wonder what camp you fit in.

    Solutions will be nice.

That's disappointing. Making something difficult to do is very different to making it impossible.

The thread is eight months old and the issue still exists (Dalanis Nightmare).

I hope the players who have the opportunity to do DN collaborate. Some of our guild got stones in the "treaty" which leaves the rest of us without.

Looking for suggestions from players and admin about this instance.

We are a fairly small underpowered guild and go to Dalanis Nightmare to try do those quests for the rings. Often, people are in before us and close the instance.

There appears to be three main issues with this:

    1. The quest items (rings) are very expensive. Players who close the instance can monopolise highly valued items. Currently, these items are over 35,000 diamonds in the auction,
    2. Closing the instance affects everybody else on the server. Other people may be prone to close it themselves knowing others want to do it first, and
    3. When the instance is open, it benefits those who are awake - for some, the instance opens at 3-4am and would therefore be unreasonable to try to do.

About a week ago, the leaders of some of the main guilds placed a world chat advising they agreed not to close the instance. This clearly isn't happening.

I am therefore wondering if some kind of modification could occur. My suggestion follows.

The instance does not "close". Instead, the players in the party that "closes" it are locked out until after daily reset, similar to Hall of Survival normal - it can be done only once. if the party does not "close" it, they can continue to farm the instance.

Any thoughts on how to improve the situation will be appreciated. Just in our guild there are many who want this instance and it will take a long time to get the items for everybody. If the instance is constantly closed, we - and other players - have no options.

I look forward to any solutions and discussions. This is by no means a whinge but a concern that affects many of us and a proactive attempt to remedy the issue.

    Thanks for reading.

Just magic classes Jada. The DPS classes I've tried are the same or less than I already do using warden scout as benchmark. Most of my gear is now in auction house statted str patk, some with XI and XII runes if you're interested: does about 1.5m regular crit damage without buffs so go buy buy buy!!!

Any information and tips about knight mage and/or mage warden will be appreciated :)

Hi there, little old me again ..

Been playing warden scout and I really like it, and perhaps it's just not for me. My damage is awful no matter how well I stat or buff. Magic casters with similar/less equipment and buffs do significantly more damage. I'm probably not playing the class right, so time to move on and count my losses.

I'd love to be good at this game and be invited for instances when I'm worthy of being in a party, so I need to change class.

I'll be starting at the bottom and learning everything, so I have the following basic questions:

    1. Can anyone recommend a high damage survivable class?
    2. What weapon/gear?
    3. What stats/runes?
    4. Buffs?
    5. Anything else?

Sorry to be a pain in the proverbial. Lots of work to do with any new class including levelling up.

I've put most of my dps gear in AH so I can re-gear (if interested!!!)

    Your thoughts will be appreciated!

    G

You don't have to spend money. It's a personal choice. I don't think it's right to complain others are better because they have gear they've invested in. Our guild isn't co-ordinated in siege and no siege leadership. I think more strategy is needed as well as good players who know what they're doing.

I recently made T9 honor gear and heaps on buffs including damage resistance. I saw no difference between that and adventure gear without many of the buffs. And I hit like a child in honor gear lol. I don't use DIYCE as I want to do it myself and not run on autopilot then say "I did it". I'd rather not use it and rely on increasing my skill, even if I die a thousand deaths. I assume here that DIYCE is an allowed addon and not against Clause 1(c)(ii) of the EULA . Perhaps PlayerNet should make a determination on that if players are complaining about it.

The good thing about fighting a guild significantly better than yours is you're constantly learning and trying to evolve your game. Yesterday I learned there's a skill on the honor glove to free from movement impairment- I didn't know that! I'd rather fight those I can't beat instead of those I know I can. I do think there's an expense against those who make honor gear where the server has implemented damage reduction.

Better guild pairing will certainly benefit all registrant guilds. If a guild is constantly paired with another, and one is constantly winning or one is constantly losing, the algorithm for pairing should identify this and pair the guild(s) with different guild(s) for that time.

Despite constantly being one-shotted and the guild losing, I do like siege other than at times, a big waiting between obtaining all towers and finally getting the crystal. My first siege was frustrating. All towers were taken and the opposition simply ran around killing us. I see no fun in that for the losing side and they may be prone to either not sieging at all, or registering at alternative times. Imagine being on the losing side and for 45 minutes all you do is run out of a castle and die. Perhaps this is why not many guilds are signing up at our particular time slot.

I'd say using "one-size-fits-all" gear is a big no, as I see some players have spent a lot on their honor gear, and there's be no profit or commercial value for PlayerNet for siege wars.

Rogues are a problem with hide. Scouts have a limited detect skill, but they're not unbeatable. A skill cooldown would balance it more instead of removing it entirely. AOE's could reveal them but some classes AOE's cooldown are too long.

    My suggestions therefore:

    - rollback server damage reduction
    - do not implement a 'one gear fits all'
    - do not re-balance classes, but consider rogue hide cooldown time for siege only
    - review guild pairing upon registration per other comments in this thread
    - Crystal to be taken within x minutes of all towers being taken (this needs fleshing out but may include penalties such as, if not taken within say 10 minutes: (a) all towers are reset; (b) team not taking crystal forfeits; (c) war ends in a draw
    - DIYCE is fine for those who choose or know how to use it. Opposing players must therefore seek a way around it to win which may include using DIYCE themselves
    - determine whether cross-server siege war with Paradise v Insomnia guilds is possible as this will increase the amount of potential guilds to be paired
    - determine whether DIYCE falls under the EULA

Just throwing my opinions and some suggestions out there.
