    the auto buying tools isnt working for me any ideas how to fix it

    15 days ago, when version 1.6.5 was uploaded, the auto buying it worked although to perform this action the crafting had to be active or you had to press start crafting when the Pet Vendor window was open and it still works, but the crafting tree bug (or rather I say defect in addon code because at that time there was only one type of crafting item for pet and now there are 3 type) is still present and therefore I will explain the situation below. In version 1.6.6, the bug is still present but now the use of any pet crafting item works.


    There are 3 types of pet collection tools. Small/lightweight, big/heavy and golden.

    The only difference between small and lightweight or big and strong, is that lightweight/strong is from the item shop and the stack is 999 instead of 99. Big lacks the lv100 raw materials until they are adds.

    Spade/hatchet/hoe small/lightweight has 14 crafting options.

    Spade/hatchet/hoe big has 8 crafting options.

    Spade/hatchet/hoe heavy has 9 crafting options.

    Spade/hatchet/hoe golden has 23 crafting options.


    The bug that PetAutoCraft has, makes it retain the crafting options tree of the item with more options that you placed in the pet and the following ones will be superimposed on it according to the amount of options they have, which makes "▲" ask for the crafting option enabled that you have lower in the list even if the crafting item does not have it. Only the golden items are bug free as it have the most options.

    The bug never appears as long as you are using the same amount of crafting options from the beginning.

    Example: If you use a big's type item, it will work fine and the only complaint you will have is that it does not collect lv100 raw materials until it is updated and can be used together with a heavy's type item without the bug appearing.


    In a future version when, with or without help, the code is edited so that when a crafting item is placed, the list of options is replaced instead of overlapping the previous one, the bug will no longer manifest itself.


    If you are going to use more than one type of item, I recommend using the crafting item with fewer options first to reduce the number of times you will have to open the game to use PAC without the bug.

    Can someone update this addon? For example, right now when I right click the button it doesn't work. When I enter the auto-game it doesn't craft.

    The problem was reported and I already reached the crafting level to reproduce the problem shortly before the prestige season reset, so I am looking into it although I have had a 30 day hiatus.



    Bugs occurring without error notification in the code:


    When choosing "▲: Highest Level" from crafting level 63 onwards, it is unable to select anything above level 61 only with blue (big Spade, big Hatchet, big Hoe) and red (heavy Spade, heavy Hatchet, heavy Hoe) title color items.

    The "Buy A Set Of Pet Crafting Tools" button seems to do nothing when pressed.

    The latest version of the launcher crashes on windows 7 without displaying the window. I think it has to do with the loading of the news content.


    If for some reason it has to do with the "browser" it may be helpful to look at the forks of chrome (aka Catsxp, thorium-legacy) and firefox (aka r3dfox) that are compatible with windows 7.

    We also have the problem that when the skill changes, or you activate specific skills that overwrite another, it is automatically replaced in the slot. The icon remains the same, but the skills are different, in execution, as well as in the description of the skill.

    I was able to reproduce the problem with the skills of the old VIP pass. When the game loads and fails to load the professions and you restart, the VIP skills in the bar become unusable and the profession buttons change to another ID. It did not affect the skills in the other tabs. All the times that the problem occurred I was without changing classes.


    I think it is a problem of the game itself, than of the addon. To mitigate the problem when changing class vActionbar saves (warning you) the skills you have in all action bars.

    I think the latest version is working fine again in CoA 10.7.1.5101. Although this weekend I will try to release a new version to make it look like before.

    There's still couple of errors but UI working fine.

    There is already the following thread dedicated to Xbar in XBar Fix. I see unnecessary the version that you have uploaded.

    It was enough to report in the dedicated thread the problem and the line you modified that anyway I do not know what fixes if until the penultimate patch called a line that supposedly did not exist and now with the latest pache versions that were already (Xbar III TimeFix 1.81H and NewXBar 1.77H) return to work as before although you can add the lines of _glossary to those who call the language files of xbar without this being a problem.



    Of course, development must come first, but also in some cases it is good to find a compromise between game development and add-on development so that the game experience is as satisfactory as possible for both simple and advanced players.


    About addons, we can classify it in 3 types:


    Type 1: If an addon stops working, you stop using it, reporting the problems to its page on curseforge if it exists and on the forum in case some samaritan fixes it.

    Type 2: Some addons even if they lose functionality can be reported as type 1 but still remain useful with the part that still works but must be used responsibly understanding the limitations or else you have to stop using it.

    Type 3: Those that work well regardless of when they were last modified.
