Minotaurs are the Enemy

'Minotaurs are the Enemy' is a Ystra Highlands zone quest with known historical bug that allows you to cancel the quest but not restart it.

The quest stems from 'Secret Friend' quest which then gives you the option to either kill the minotaur of which relates to my choice 'Minotaurs are the Enemy' or you can save the Minotaur.

Depending on whether you decided to save or kill the minotaur you will receive a title . Having one of these titles is also required to complete and receive another main title.

If you decide to save the Minotaur it works fine, I have never had a problem and it was my usual selection when playing rom europe, australia and both pve pvp servers America.

For some reason i decided to kill the minotaur this time even though I recalled friends on past servers having problems with it over the years

Now to the problem of my Quest topic

After killing the minotaur it gives you a badge, you are a meant to show this to another guy at a tent. However if you have lost the badge and cancel the quest you cannot restart the quest.

It is lost for ever. I have also spoken to the guy I was meant to talk to who actually says thankyou but dosnt complete the quest (didnt have the badge). Now that I have spoken to him he dosnt reply and the quest is deleted.

Is there anyway to get this quest restarted. The main reason is I am a completionist and like to complete all quests but also it stops me from receiving 2 Titles which in turn makes it harder to receive Title level enhancements.

Do I need to make a ticket?

I have put a ticket in now as suggested, but the real problem is that i cannot start the quest again since deleting it from my quest list. It has been like this since the game first came out over a decade ago. I'll see what support can do. I don't think anything can be done about it personally due to the guy who wants the badge has already been spoken to and the script has ended to accept a badge. That guy is a deaf mute now, getting a replacement may not work, I will update as to the outcome once Support get back to me.

Final Update from ticket: Unfortunately, if you are a completionist and want to get all titles and chose to kill the Minotaur instead of save the minotaur you will not get the title. This title is also required to complete the final Ystra Highlands Title 'Conquorer of Ystra Highlands'. Having played this game since Autolo Volcano was the main zone before the new content of Thunderhoof hills came out I was positive it didn't matter which selection you chose it give the final title. I guess I was wrong. They are looking into this it may end up that the saving of the minotaur will no longer be a requirement. For Completionists who wish to start a new character for the purpose of completing all Titles it is suggested at this point to select the option of saving the minotaur until this can be rectified.

I thank the staff for helping out with this and getting back to me in quick manner in particular with my vague and probably confusing query. I'm sure they have better things to do. Cheers, top job
