I would like to share a bad experience I had with the quest 420605 [Dissipating All Fortune]
To complete this quest, I had to wait for the boss 100075 [Giant Guardian]
I waited around 50 minutes for this boss to appear. When the boss finally spawned, I tried to complete the quest by using the quest item 201275 [Expensive Rune] given by the NPC.
However, even though I had the boss selected and right-clicked the item many times, I kept receiving the following red warning message:
“Harabelerde kullanmak için yanında bir Muhafıza ihtiyacın var! Kullanılamaz”
Normally, I expected the quest to progress after selecting the boss and using the item once. However, even after trying many times and changing my position several times, the item did not work for a while.
After some trial and error, the quest finally completed. However, this was a very stressful experience. This boss can drop a valuable card when killed, so other players may come and kill it.
Around 5-6 seconds after I finally completed the quest, a strong player arrived and killed the boss. I was very lucky, because if I had been a few seconds later, the boss would have been killed after I had waited around 50 minutes, and I would not have completed the quest.
Because of this, I think the usage condition or required positioning for 201275 [Expensive Rune] could be made clearer for players.
At the moment, even when the boss is selected, the item may appear not to work, and the warning says that a Guardian is needed nearby. This makes it difficult for the player to understand what they are doing wrong.
Since this quest can require a long boss waiting time, making the item usage condition clearer or making it work more reliably when the boss is selected would improve the player experience.
