Talaghan Skies portals

    I have completed every quest available on the ground level of Talaghan both inside zando and outside, but still dont have acces to the skies of Talaghan.

    The only outstanding quest I have is The Dark Core and that is a high level group dungeon, so I don't think that is preventing the quest line to the skies. I have checked the Talaghan quest line thread but it has quests all over the place not necessarily in order.

    Do the quests in Atlantis have anything to do with access to the Talaghan skies? As I have 3 outstanding that will probably link further quests but not necessarily to Talaghan skies, outstanding Atlantis quests being Strange Memories, Defeat Aldo, and Last Act (part II)

    The last linked quest i did on the ground level of Talaghan was burying a guy in the graveyard and then getting holy water and splashing it over tombstones, when i checked the Talaghan quest line it then had quests after that I had already completed. With no outstanding NPC's to talk to in Talaghan or Zando I am at a loss. I have gone to all NPC's again that have a blue or red ! on the map and completed all their dailies and rep also (apart from 1 blue that is also in the Dark Core). There are no outstanding yellow!. I have got 2 quests in Engineering area Champion of the Dark arena and 'Engineering' I dont believe they will have anything to do with access to the skies. The only other outstanding are the zone rep quests Charming the Hydra etc outstanding.


    Hope you can help as I am completely clueless at this point.

    You can use queststate (backspace default) to help find quest requirements that you're missing. But from your post, it sounds like you're missing: Mysteries of the Ancestors quest which will unlock the Eye of Wisdom questline in talaghan which is required for the skies. You can find more info in player guides for how this quest can be obtained.

    Thanks for your reply, yes it looks like completing the group related quests in Atlantis may have something to do with unlocking this. The quest listed right before 'Mysteries of the Ancestors' as you suggest in the Talaghan quest list mentions Defeat Aldo quest. I noticed Strange Memories is also mentioned , another Atlantis quest within the Talaghan quest guide along with many awakened instances quests listed., so Ill just have to try and find a group with killing Aldo as priority and see what happens from there . Hopefully it will link to it. If not Ill work on the Strange Memories awakened series. Getting a group is a problem. Thanks once again.

    Aldo and strange memories aren't required to enter Talaghan skies. These are separate standalone questlines.

    ok thanks, CS Daleshy advised me to use the Assistant , (Default U) of which Skies of Mystery is listed under Levels Tab (was looking in zones tab). Took me a while to work out how to use it but clicking on all the prerequisites now to get back to what I need which seems to be a document. , tks for the help

    Can't go back any further, NPC: Old Manuscript. There is no clue/info telling you where to go for this. A video is supplied luckily on the Talaghan quests guide just trying to work out where he has gone in Atlantis. The video is so quick.


    Ok got the document, for anyone else who is stuck at the same point. 9.43 / 52.9 in Atlantis is a cave. I had to jump down the waterfall at Itnal camp into the lagoon below. You get a title when you enter. It's a small room with mummies, the document is on right side as you enter around a corner.


    I'm not sure why there is no new quest to link to this cave area with info about getting a document. The video was my only saviour here and CS Daleshy pointing out the Assistant. Very handy :)

    The scroll is located in a cave inside atlantis ( entrance can been seen from the bridge than is connecting the training ground and the plaza, but is tricky to get down there, best way ask a player to open a portal or ask in world chat, people will know what you are searching
