As explained in Patch Notes with reasons, it's worth to point that it is per character (so you can use 8 characters to get 80 purchases per day).
Baumi38 i thinking that they doing it because nobody are buy new amulet per diamond, that why they trying control everything
If you are referring to Tithing Amulets, their price got drastically decreased along with patch to make them easier accessible for regular players.
