I was tired of Runes of Magic last weekend, and installed this - wow so different! Amazing really well done to everyone, is like a different game and a lot more characters.
TUTORIALS
OK so when I started, I have all these question marks. They're useful but too many of them (tutorials). I'm wondering if you could consider another way of organising them? eg
1 Panel and group them with a collapse/expand button and organisation tool.
2 Green - urgent/important
Yellow - very useful
Blue - low priority
3 There was a tutorial about disenchanting. I wanted to pin it. I usually click "Got it!" and a tutorial disappears, and I wanted to keep it by clicking the window X button, but it still disappeared. I don't know how to get it back. Maybe a way to "pin" tutorials for later? The pin colour could be white.
MAP PLAY
1 I installed a few addins, supposed to help with maps, and there's lots of info - wondering if it could be baked in so addins aren't required.
2 I recently posted about a problem with my "follow" arrow, that little arrow that directs me to a quest receiver or NPC I've followed. I don't know if this is a frequent thing, or I broke something. Maybe a reset button would be good?
TWO STARTING GUILDS
So this was a great idea having a beginning guild. Can I suggest:
1 There's two beginner guilds and the character is randomly put into one of them?
2 That way they can siege. It's twice a day.
3 Maybe characters are allowed to swap into different guilds, but there must be a near-even distribution
WORLDHELP
OK So I was stuck on a couple of those Morrok/Tony quests where there's a mob and you have to kill them, but I couldn't do it. For Newbies, the guild may not be responsive as they're not there, so they have to either use a megaphone if they have the diamonds and know how, Google it, or give up .. what if like, there's a button "Call for help" and it sends that quest to world chat asking for help. Maybe a dialogue box asking for more info ("I need someone to kill these so I can keep questing") - for free, until max level on any class. Then they should know and have enough experience to use a megaphone. You might have to restrict it so it's not over-used/spammed.
LOGIN SCREEN
After logging in a character, there's a screen that comes up with lots of useful informaiton about updates, guilds, party, etc - but I don't know how to get it back up unless I log back in. Maybe a button could be good.
If I have any other thoughts that might be worthwhile, I'll post them. Hope it helps, thanks a lot.
