Arcadia Coin Exchange - Feedback

    This is not an adjustment.

    It collapsed from 5 Arcada Coins = 4 Memento

    to 16 Coins = 4 Memento

    This is more than 300% the previous value.

    Adjustmenbts go in single digit percentages.

    Maybe it is a bug in conversion, so please check and correct.


    Anyways. if you make these huge changes at least grant the destroyed Arcadia Coin value for people holding them.

    This is intentional, not a bug. The scale reflects the severity of the economic imbalance that developed over years.

    On the increase - you're looking at it backwards. Arcadia Coins farming became 7x more efficient than intended. We adjusted rates by 5x - meaning you're still earning Ancient Mementos faster than the original design.


    Compensation isn't planned. Players holding Arcadia Coins haven't lost value - the coins still function exactly as intended in the original system design. The inflated rates were the anomaly, not the current ones.


    "Adjustments" aren't limited to single digits when addressing fundamental economic imbalances. Sometimes larger corrections are necessary for long-term server health.

  • I have 2 concerns about the arcadia coin change


    1. it will have the opposite effect on the economy than what you had hoped and as diamonds become scarcer people will want more diamonds for what they are selling potentially driving up the costs of gear and creating an even bigger divide between new players and end game players.


    2. with the reduction in value from arcadia coins the mid game content will become less desirable leading to people not wanting to do tikal/kalin/IDK etc. which will essentially put a block on new players progressing into the end game.


    I really hope I am wrong about both these points, and only time will tell what the outcome will be.


    Maybe implementing or improving something to incentivise people to do the mid-game content maybe something like a title for running instances X amount of times or rewards for helping people through the quests.

    Hi Necrol1212, thanks for the feedback - both points are valid concerns and exactly what we're monitoring.


    1) On diamond scarcity and prices:

    - We agree the inflow will slow down, but the reduction primarily affects veteran players. We track diamond generation/spend alongside Play Time and Gear Score, so we can see which segment is impacted.

    - If diamonds become scarcer, two counterforces typically appear: sellers adjust prices down because there aren't enough diamonds to clear listings, and some players shift to gold- or item/s-for-item/s trades. We'll watch the diamond-to-gold ratio and Auction House clear rates closely. If we see persistent price-stickiness or widening gaps, we'll refine rates or add alternative faucets to stabilize liquidity.


    2) On mid-game content desirability:

    - We'll review participation in Tikal/Kalin/IDK and other AM/AC sources and compare it pre and post-change. The intent is not to devalue mid-game, but to rebalance an outsized conversion path that mainly benefited endgame.

    - If we observe drop-offs, we're prepared to add targeted incentives (e.g., improved mid-game rewards, titles) to keep those instances active and rewarding.
