Hail, I'm newcomer.

  • Good morning.

I am Lauhrent de Blangy, wandering virtual worlds, wandering limbo, sliding from universe to universe.

I am an old Runes Of Magic player since 2009, causal-gamer.

I discovered MMORPGs with Ultima Online and then EverQuest where grouping up with other players was vital. I loved the social side of it. I switched games as a result of the community disbanding. I've been wandering around ever since and still looking for another mmo.

From ROM, I appreciate the movement by click AND keyboard AND mouse, the vast and open world, the targeting system, the skills to personalize, the transmutation of gems, the increase and tiering of objects, the harvest of raw materials, and crafting.

I don't appreciate that looted items are superior to crafted items.

I liked the housing of Ultima Online, Asheron Call, ArchAge, Utopia Origin, where you can build a non-instanced house, unlike instanced apartments (Anarchy Online, Asheron Call, ROM)

It was a friend who made me discover "Chroniles of Arcadia".

I wonder if I will come.

ROM is empty, when I go there I only play solo, finding a band is a waste of time when I lack free time to play.

Nevertheless, I spent a lot of time developing my character's skills and equipment (and his mules), and also money-diam's.

But, I read that there was going to be an update on CoA allowing this non-instantiated housing. ...Reading again, I understand that it will be an instance of a detached house with land around... :(

Although: Looking for Challengers for my amazing Maze! , it seems rather that players can create their own instance.

    To watch.

    And, i'm French.

    Bonjour.

Bien que : Looking for Challengers for my amazing Maze!

    A voir.

  • Hello, this server is getting a lot of new content with every patch. Developers are bringing a lot of new stuff to this server every year. Some time ago gold npc rate was changed, so people must farm gold if they want to use buffs from guild castle. Of course rich people just trade their diamonds in auction house. If you are a new player i suggest you to farm gold for a while and buy diamonds with your gold. So, you can earn some diamonds when you discover this server. You can also join a newbie guild and run endgame instances as support. Warlock/mage is best support class but it is more difficult than other classes. Warrior/priest, Scout/bard, Champion/druid are easier than warlock/mage. After you learn playing support you can also make a gear and start playing dps, heal or tank

    Bonjour Lauhrent de Blangy,

we're happy to see your interest in Chronicles of Arcadia! Thank you for sharing your journey through different virtual worlds and how you found ours. Being an experienced MMORPG player since the days of Ultima Online and EverQuest, we believe you'll find a vibrant and fulfilling experience here at Chronicles of Arcadia.

As you enjoyed several features in RoM, we're happy to say that anything you found there, is here, but improved.

The housing system you mentioned is indeed a part of COA. While it's not a non-instanced housing system like in Ultima Online, it does offer a customizable house with private housekeepers and special abilities, and allow other players to visit it.

We're exploring ways to enhance this feature further based on feedback from players like you.

You may want to check our recent housing update patch notes: https://chroniclesofarcadia.co…-7-0-1000-housing-rework/

You mentioned that you enjoy the social aspects of MMORPGs, and this is something we've focused on in Chronicles of Arcadia. We have an extended community for interaction and enjoyment, group instances, and raids for cooperative play.

You can communicate with others using the forum, world or other chats in the game, or our Discord.
