Bard Class [Feedback]

  • Hello,

    I tested this again.

Previously, it was explained that 1501869 [Ruhani Hançer] having unlimited duration is intended, and that these stacks can be used / consumed with 1491130 [Yok Edici].

However, during my test, I noticed the following:

First, I used 1491129 [Ölümcül Büyü +26] on the target, and 1501869 [Ruhani Hançer] appeared on the target.

After that, I used 1491130 [Yok Edici +26] on the same target.

However, 1501869 [Ruhani Hançer] did not disappear from the target and continued to remain there.

Because of this, I would like to make sure that I understand the mechanic correctly.

    My question is:

When using 1491130 [Yok Edici], should the player’s own 1501869 [Ruhani Hançer] stacks visually disappear from the target?

Or does the skill use the stacks for damage calculation while the visible debuff remains on the target?

If needed, I can also provide a video showing this behavior.

I also noticed another tooltip-related detail:

The tooltip of 1491100 [Gel Git +26] says that it spreads Fear to enemies.

When using this skill, the target receives 1501803 [Kargaşa].

This may be the Fear effect mentioned in the tooltip. However, the tooltip does not mention that the applied debuff is 1501803 [Kargaşa].

So this may not be a bug, but the tooltip could possibly be clearer.

    Thank you.

  • Hello,

I would like to share another piece of feedback about the Bard class.

When looking at the crafting system, almost every weapon type has many craftable options, except instruments. There are many recipes and craftable weapons for different levels, such as swords, axes, daggers, staffs, bows, wands, and other weapon types.

These recipes can usually be obtained from NPCs or dropped by monsters.

However, this does not seem to be the case for Bard instruments. At low levels, Bard instrument recipes seem very difficult to find, or almost unavailable.

I previously mentioned that low-level weapon / instrument availability for Bard feels limited. This issue also appears in the crafting system.

I think low-level Bard instruments could be added not only as monster drops or NPC vendor items, but also as crafting recipes.

For example, some low-level monsters or suitable NPC vendors could provide recipes for Bard instruments. This would allow players to craft their own low-level Bard weapons.

This would be especially helpful for new Bard players. If a player cannot find a suitable instrument from quests or drops, they would at least have a way to craft an instrument appropriate for their level.

The purpose of this suggestion is not to make Bard too strong. The goal is to make low-level Bard progression feel more balanced compared to other classes, and to make Bard instruments part of the crafting system like other weapon types.

    Thank you.

  • Are you planning any balance changes for the B/CH and B/R classes? These combinations really need your attention, and it’s disappointing that nothing is being done about them. Just check their activity on the server—there is none :(

I’d also like to propose that the Bard class be the only one able to play musical instruments (tambourine, lute, guitar, etc.) while moving—without interrupting the cast. After all, they are Bards, right? They ought to be able to do things like that.

  • Hello,

129491 [Miquella], who introduces and provides information related to the Bard class, currently appears like a regular NPC.

While exploring Sarlo, I noticed 122154 [Moby Dekon]. This NPC continuously plays different musical instruments while moving, which gives the character a very nice visual identity.

Since 129491 [Miquella] is directly connected to the Bard class, I think it could be a nice visual and lore improvement if she also occasionally played musical instruments or used Bard-themed music animations.

    Thank you.

  • A few words about bards

Bard/Scout - At first, I hated the change from the B/S mechanic to the mindless holding down of one or two keys, but I’ve gotten used to it. Oh well.

    1. "Soul Whirlwind" skill has too long a cooldown, when you're in a dungeon and need to switch from one mob pack to another or simply adjust the targeting area (since mobs move around a lot). As a result, reusing this ability feels unresponsive—even sluggish.

    2. I can confirm that it is impossible to refresh buffs while holding down an offensive skill, and this is a major issue. I see no reason why other classes can do this while attacking, but B/S cannot.

    3. Switching targets between mobs has become inconvenient because it has to be done manually. It’s not a major issue, but other classes—using Kitty or Lua—switch targets automatically, giving them a slight advantage. It’s worth considering.

Bard/Rogue - The changes in recent patches are definitely a step in the right direction. Things have improved; single-target damage is slightly better, allowing you to land somewhere in the middle of the DPS charts during boss fights, though AoE trash fights still feel lackluster. Maybe consider changing the "Inevitable Fall" ability so that it deals AoE damage, or at least applies some kind of DoT. I’m using an off-hand build (which is what the class’s skills seem designed for), and compared to magic classes, it’s a disaster—even with the recent buff.

Bard/Champion - I don't even know how to describe the tragic state it's in compared to other classes. It wasn't like this before the introduction of the 3-stat Corruption system. It definitely needs changes because it’s simply scraping the bottom of the DPS charts XD—which is a shame, because it has cool rune-farming mechanics and plenty of AoE skills, yet it just can't compete with other classes at all. It used to be very strong in single-target damage and merely average in AoE; now, both aspects of its combat performance suck.

And finally, I’m reiterating my request: all Bards should be able to play their instruments (lute, guitar, tambourine) while moving. This simply has to happen! :)
