    Class Balance

    New Class Combinations along with new weapon type (gun) are planned around 30th October 2020.

    Game Engine Lifting

    64-bit, fixed all known crash types, improved ram management, improved fps, reworked ground textures and a lot of others. Planned around 20th November 2020.

    Additionally with patch at 21-22th October 2020 we will implement change "Reduced lag that occurs when entities around you change buffs." that should drastically increase FPS during raid runs.

  • How to get addons

    Hello,


    In first order, you should always check if certain addon is available for Chronicles of Arcadia, so it will be for sure working, not freezing or being laggy like some non dedicated versions:

    If addon isn't there, then you can try addons from here:

    Basically all you have to do is download .zip, and unpack it to /interface/addons/ (create directory if you don't have it) like this:


    Make sure you won't do this - it won't work or will cause issues with crashing interface.



    Alternatively you can use Twitch App (from CurseForge), but it is getting soon migrated out of Twitch so probably this way is not recommended right now.

  • A Problem with the Thorned Tiger Ray Mount

    Hello,


    Do you mean mount is unsummoned while using talisman? It is intended then, you can't cast objects while sitting on mount. Sometimes it does for a while, but it is just visual bug, and you were supposed to always be taken off from mount. I would suggest you instead get some speed buffs like from housemaids, so you can just walk faster without need of mount.

    Basically you don't need extra powerful computer for it. From my experiences, I replaced Windows XP on very poor machines to Windows 7 64-bit (when Win 10 didn't exist) and it was like second life for these computers and laptops, way smoother. And you can buy license key online for it for really cheap (even 10 Eur).

    All these are about animations. I would suggest you try some checkboxes to disable effects on certain mobs/self/others.


    This one seems related to teleport/channel change and had already applied extra code by us year ago, and for my personal experience it solved issue, and never saw it again until now. Did you change channel or teleport (varanas <-> silverspring or varanas teleporter)? Or had any kind of lag when entered different subzone (part of city)?

    Housing Patch

    Bored of sitting in 4 walls? Then why not go outside? Choose one of landscapes, select your ground, sky, music, put buildings, make garden, put some stones, trees and other decors. Not enough? We will find something more to satisfy you.

    Sadly I wasn't able to check these crash reports, as required debug file from patch 10.2.1.2005 wasn't stored mistakely.

    One crash is about using emotes, other about "You use: x item" when using housemaid potions. Generally it seems like somehow Japanese windows language is working weirdly with code no other languages have issues. We are able to reproduce all the issues, so we will be looking into it later.


    As mentioned by GM whisper, all are graphical (animations/motions) issues, recommended to use housemaid in other place at the moment.
