    Recipes 551306–551308 and the Recipe Collection

    Hello everyone,

    I have been playing Arcadia for many years, and I try to complete the in-game collections as close to 100% as possible. While checking the missing entries in my Recipe Collection, I came across three cooking recipes connected to a festival that I personally have never seen active on Arcadia: White Day.

    The three recipes are listed under Vendor 600184, which is opened by:

    The location above is client/database information. It does not by itself prove that this NPC currently spawns on Arcadia.

    All three require Cooking level 1, have a 99% success rate, and produce 3 items per craft.

    Where does White Day come from?

    White Day is observed on March 14, one month after Valentine’s Day. More importantly for Runes of Magic, there is an old official Runes of Magic forum discussion from August 2019 about this content.

    In that thread, SaitoHajime — Game Admin DE/US & Tech explained that the White Day content came from the old JP/KR version of Runes of Magic and was not related to the EU/US versions, apart from possible localized fragments.

    This is also consistent with the KR prefix in the NPC initialization script:

    What about Arcadia?

    The current Arcadia Wiki Festivals page does not list White Day among the documented Arcadia festivals. I also have not been able to find a documented Arcadia announcement or forum discussion showing this event being active.

    From my own experience after playing Arcadia for many years, I have personally never seen either this event or 114947 [Confection Instructor] on Arcadia.

    However, I do not want to claim that White Day has definitely never been active at any point in Arcadia’s history. If anyone remembers seeing it in the past, I would be interested to know when and how it worked.

    Why this matters for collectors

    This is actually how I discovered the whole subject. I was not specifically searching for White Day; I was checking the missing entries in my Recipe Collection while trying to complete my collections as close to 100% as possible.

    These three recipes appear in the Recipe Collection, but so far I have not been able to identify a current legitimate way to obtain them on Arcadia.

    If there is no alternative acquisition source for them, these entries would prevent players from completing the Recipe Collection to 100%.

    For players who are not interested in collections, three low-level cooking recipes may not seem particularly important. For collection-oriented players, however, permanently inaccessible entries are a different issue.

    I am not asking for these recipes to simply be given to players. I would mainly like to understand their current and intended status on Arcadia.

    Questions

    1. Does anyone remember White Day or 114947 [Confection Instructor] ever being active on Arcadia?

    2. Are recipes 551306, 551307 and 551308 currently obtainable through any legitimate method on Arcadia?

    3. Is White Day intentionally not part of Arcadia, or could this old JP/KR event potentially be adapted for Arcadia in the future — perhaps around March 14?

    4. If the event itself is not planned, could these recipes eventually become obtainable through another appropriate festival/vendor, or alternatively be excluded from the Recipe Collection requirements?

    If any older players remember this content, or if the team can clarify its current status, I would be interested to hear more.
