750185 [Sun Temple of Eternal Sleep]

  • Hello,

I would like to give some feedback about the mechanic of 109489 [Sunlight] in 750185 [Sun Temple of Eternal Sleep].

I have spent around two hours repeatedly farming and testing this mechanic. At this point I understand the event itself, including which music hints correspond to which instruments, and I am consistently using the correct instrument inside the correct circle.

The main problem is 1500300 [Inspired].

After playing the correct instrument, 1500300 [Inspired] is applied for 7 seconds. While this effect is active, 105058 [Güneş'in Kobayı] and 106879 [Ay'ın Kobayı] are supposed to react to the player and move toward the player's position so they can enter the active circle.

However, the guinea pigs move so slowly that the 7-second duration is often not enough for them to reach the player and enter the circle before 1500300 [Inspired] expires.

This makes the mechanic extremely frustrating even when the player already understands exactly how the event works. I have spent around two hours on it without being able to make meaningful progress, despite knowing the music/instrument combinations and performing the mechanic correctly.

The difficulty here does not come from figuring out the puzzle anymore. It comes mainly from the very short duration of 1500300 [Inspired] compared to the movement speed of the guinea pigs.

From what I have seen, this dungeon is also rarely farmed, and this mechanic is a major obstacle for players who want to farm the dungeon, obtain cards, complete related quests or work on titles.

I think this mechanic should be adjusted in one of the following ways:

    - Increase the duration of 1500300 [Inspired] from 7 seconds to around 12 seconds, or

    - Increase the movement speed of 105058 [Güneş'in Kobayı] and 106879 [Ay'ın Kobayı] while they are reacting to 1500300 [Inspired].

The mechanic can still require players to understand the music hints and use the correct instruments, but the current timing feels unnecessarily punishing even after the mechanic has been learned.

Could this mechanic please be reviewed and adjusted?
