Hey guys,
sometimes I'm playing on my Laptop connected to a second monitor.
If I unplug that monitor during the session the game goes completely black.
Any chance this is going to get fixed?
Greetings

Thats because your output is directed to the ext monitor so it switches off.
On screen game will still be there just minimised. Laptops with ext monitors have been twitchy since birth. Most SHOULD work as a larger screen for the laptop, but in certrain cases where they require a driver being presetn you will find that they tend to close or minimise a program that was being displayed to prevent a screen dump lock up.
As a precaution to the game locking you out I would advise that you close the game first, then unplug the monitor. Just yanking the wire out is never a good plan, it may look like a USB connector, but HDMI, VGA, DVI connectors require a sync pulse to be present and do not output a 5V DC line which is uncoupled last of all as the plug is extracted.
There is however an adapter for USB to HDMI which does allow the unplugging mid game without incident. I use one in my job for the same reason as you the monitor size. You may get a ruduction in FPS of around 10% but for the sake of killing your Laptop or monitor its a sacrifice worth having.
