Warrior/Mage Movement Speed

    Hello, I'd like to make a request to have warrior/mage have access to a permanent buff to movement speed. I think this is completely fair due to the trade offs to not being a caster and wearing cloth. It also makes a lot of sense since the skills are wind-based. When it comes to magic damage, dark damage has 3 different combos that have this buff. When it comes to elemental type damage, Mage/Champion is your only option. Some would argue Mage/Druid, but it isn't reliable.

    Warrior/Mage already has passive movement speed through the Level 70 Elite "Possessed by Anger". While at maximum stacks of Electrical Rage buff, you get quite a lot of movement speed, iirc it was 35% or something like that. It is not planned to add another passive movement speed, as the class already has a charge attack and enough speed while at max stacks. The idea of the class is to always keep using normal attacks to always keep up the movement speed and damage you get from Electrical Rage buff.


    Thematically the wind damage from Warrior/Mage is electric power that has to charge up in order to release the full potential of the class. The DoT it uses is Lightning Burn, which is basically the burn damage you get from lightning strikes or high voltage strikes. It actually synergizes well with other wind classes, such as Mage/Champ (which is another melee class).

    How do you think so? Any magical class deals elemental type damage, mostly depending on the sub-class, but also depending on their original design idea.

    Right, so the argument is if you want to invest in gloves other than Gloves of the Dark and Light ID:1220205 and play any class other than the favored dark classes, your options are low when it comes to this buff. M/Wl get a lot of perks, including a permanant 30% movement speed buff when using Phirus Deposit-Injector ID:1244820. You have several options, but if you want to use the Gloves of the Four Element ID:1220196 you have 1. When youre with other players on farming runs and everyone has movement speed, all you typically see are warlock secondaries or mains. Warlock/Warden, Rouge/Warlock, and Mage/Warlock. Can we see some love for anything besides dark?

    The maximum stacks buff doesn't really help when everyone else you're running with just has it turned on.

    To keep up with others with it just turned on, you would have to click Enraged, which gives maximum stacks, and the movement speed buff lasts for literally 5 seconds, and Enraged has a 1-minute cooldown. Why can't the buff be applied with Electrical Rage as it does with Lightning Shield on Mage/Champion?

    Why would u only have 1 option for elemental gloves? There are literally 10+ more than viable classes and the best magic classes of all are elemental too.. W/M is actually one of the average/lower tier classes, you should try some mage/ class, like m/ch, m/w, m/d, m/wd, m/s and all of them are viable... if u wanna play something wild on elemental gloves, go for scout/mage, priest/scout, champ/bard, etc. If ppl don't play these and stick to their m/wl, it's their fault I guess, there are much better classes around :D


    If you had complained about set gloves bcz there are only 4 classes that can use them properly, I wouldn't have said anything, but elemental gloves? :D Back to bootcamp, soldier! :D

    I would recommend to actually try the class on dummies in itnal camp, then u will see that u keep up the stacks with whitehits if your Electrical Rage 499994 is active, its the lvl 15 elite, if u hit faster than every 5s (what u should) then the stacks instantly refresh and you have it up forever as long as you fight.. if u engage a new fight, just use Enraged again or Dwarven Ale, or simply do whitehits to stack up again..
