How to use robot when equipped

sorry I don't know, I got a "Refined Robot" from the auction house and equipped it, but it is blanked out (in the same way as say, chain gear is blanked out for a rogue/scout). How do I activate it or whatever I need to do?

It already has 2 stats on with a dura of 120

Reads to me I don't need to do anything so I'm stuck.

Hello,

The wiki link you sent also mentions “Arena of Darkness” in the part about robots.

Take a look at that page. Under Quests → Engineering, you’ll find more info on which quests you need to complete so you can equip/fully benefit from, a robot.
