Kalin Shrine - Suggestions for a Fairer Experience

  • Hey everyone, Dear DEVS

I’m reaching out to get some perspective on Kalin Shrine and probably other nostalgia ini (Kalin+). To be honest, I’m getting pretty frustrated with it; it feels like the balancing is significantly off for the average player.

Currently, unless half the party is rocking maxed-out artifacts and top-tier endgame gear, the instance feels almost undoable. It's creating a weird gap where players who actually need the drops can't clear it, and the veterans who can clear it have no reason to run it anymore.

    Quick Questions:

Power Requirements: What is the actual "comfortable" power level for this? With Rofl gear and buffs we get around 2kk-2,5kk patk, matk. Mobs have around 4,5kk def - so avg. dps will deal around 1/2 of his dmg, combine this with recent nerfs to classes to adjust endgame and we got this weird gap in power.

Team Comp: Any specific recommendations for a more "budget-friendly" party setup that doesn't rely on raw whale stats?

The Conflict: When you combine these high defensive stats with recent class nerfs (intended to balance the ultra-endgame), it leaves mid-tier players hitting a literal wall.

    A Proposed Solution for Balance

If we want to make this content accessible to players who aren't in full endgame gear yet—without forcing them to beg for "carries" from players who have moved on—I think a stat adjustment is necessary.

I suggest reducing the Physical and Magical Defense of the mobs and bosses by approximately 20-30%. Why this works from my perspective:

Lower Entry Barrier: It allows players with mid-tier gear to contribute meaningful damage.

Reduced Friction: It stops the instance from feeling like a "gear check" wall and turns it back into a skill-based challenge.

Healthy Progression: It lets players farm their own upgrades rather than waiting for a high-level player to show up out of pity.

Has anyone else felt this way, or am I just hitting a wall? Would love to hear some tips or if you agree with the defense idea.
