Hi everyone,
I recently noticed that Siege War now only works with PvP gear, and that buff food can no longer be used.
Since we only have one server and it is PvE-oriented, Siege War always played a special role. For many players, it was the only structured endgame activity where guilds could participate together without being focused on PvP. It served as a bridge between PvE and PvP gameplay.
With the current changes (PvP gear requirement and disabled bufffood), this content has effectively become inaccessible for many PvE-focused players. PvP gear requires significant additional effort or even spending diamonds, which is a major barrier for players who never approached Siege War as pure PvP content.
It’s also worth mentioning that Siege War registration lists have been largely empty for months. This strongly suggests that these restrictions made the content unattractive for a large portion of the player base, to the point where it is barely being played anymore.
As a result, a major part of the endgame experience on the current server has been lost, without a meaningful alternative to replace it.
This is not meant as a complaint against PvP itself. Siege War used to be an inclusive system that allowed different playstyles to participate, and that aspect seems to be gone now.
It would be great if this could be reconsidered, for example by:
- adjusting Siege War rules to better fit a PvE-oriented server
- or providing alternative ways to make Siege War accessible without mandatory PvP gear
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and thanks for the continued work on the game.
