Item Shop prices & QuestHelper

To aktualnie utrudniacie rozgrywke nowym graczom.

Thanks for laying this out so clearly and for speaking up as a new player. A few clarifications from our side: we haven't adjusted diamond or most item pricing for roughly a decade, while cumulative EU inflation over that period was huge, so some recent changes are simple normalization. We've focused these adjustments mostly on cosmetic and quality-of-life items. The item you mention (Magical Perfume) is optional: it speeds up farming and auto-loot convenience, but it doesn't block progression. Our broader goal is to narrow the gap between newcomers and veterans; without some economic tweaks that's not achievable. In parallel, we're preparing starter packages for new players and considering changes to how many diamonds/PNC you get in selected places to make early progression feel smoother. We're also exploring a cheaper, toned-down version of Perfume (slower/smaller effect) so players can pick between full comfort and a budget QoL option. And to keep things accessible, we'll run regular promotions and rotating discounts on these items (including Perfume) so players can pick them up at better value.

On QuestHelper: it's a community addon, not core client functionality. We reached out to two addon authors with all the details we have and haven't heard back yet. We also spent time investigating on our side (the bug is stubborn) and we can't keep the addon enabled for veterans because it makes the Millim zone effectively unplayable, and there isn't a simple way to disable it only there. We understand the frustration and will try a small round of minimal, safe fixes; at the same time, anyone from the community is welcome to contribute updates, and we'll support and help test them.

We know many new players are grinding instances for income. We're reviewing early-game earnings and will add/tune alternatives so there's more than one viable path without paywalls. Bottom line: the intent isn't to make things harder, but to tidy up the economy after years without indexation while keeping changes centered on optional/QoL items -alongside concrete steps (starter packs, promos, possible diamond/PNC tweaks) to make starting out faster and fairer. If you have ideas for the starter pack, promo timing, or what a "lite" Perfume should look like, we'd love to hear them.

  • I directly enabled questhelper for myself after you blocked it and using it daily. I did not use it for Millim but for all other quests the last days in low level zones. It works out perfectly for me, so I don‘t know.

Sorry, to be honest perfume is NOT a comfort item for me. Most instances would not be playable without. There is no way to loot in Orkham, Grafu, ... manually. We invite you for some ini runs and you show us how to do the events without perfume.

In general this is a good idea, but I don't this the latest changes are supporting this. When I was a newcomer the big difference between me and veterans was not beeing able to afford parfume and shoes (ofc besides gear and co). I had to loot everything manually. As a tank player, I couldn't do bigger pulls due to beeing slower. Now I can afford those items and need it to perform better and have more fun in this game. Veterans will still buy it and maybe save on other ressources. Newcomer now should pay 3 times the amount of dias than before, which they either didn't had, needed to farm a lot for it or had to pay a lot of money. I am pretty sure with this decision you will not narrow the gap between newcomers and veterans, but increase it. Please overthink this decision and maybe adjust prices on items, which will have a better effect on your goals.

PS: QoL items are resulting in having more fun in this game. Not gonna lie, without some of those items, I might play less and less due to having less fun when I need to loot everything manually. I don't want to farm hours only to be able to play this game "properly" (in my opinion and playstyle).

  • To be honest, Magical Perfume seems to be a mayor problem, way more then boots or any other stuff since it affects all players that actively farm or run inis (specially new/small players). Every single guild I played in had perfume as a must have, specially since aoe quick casts on cursor position is blocked by lootable mobs. If you implement a budget option for this, it would be fine, but the price increase should only be AFTER you implemented an alternative. And quite honestly this is the 3rd instalment of tuning the eco against the players in a row (1. Mayor decrease in AC income; 2. reducing AC to Dias by 75%), though this one actually hits people that are still limited to nostalgia inis. An increase of 1250 Dias means people would have to farm ADDITIONAL 25k mems or about 200kk gold every month, only to have the same Perfume as before.

Can i got u in game? I try to do that with latest questhelper like 2012 etc, and with no finally hapening. Maybe u can tell me how did u do that?

  • I thought only one item's price was updated, but after checking the Item Shop, I noticed that many items have been increased by almost 100% or even more. I think this change will not be welcomed, especially by non-endgame and new players. I hope there will be an adjustment before the weekend promo/discount ends
