Champion/Druid Support Class Guide

  • Greetings fellow Arcadians ,


    This will be a more in depth Guide on how to play/what Skills to use as Champion/Druid as Support.

    Champion/Druid is after the Warlock/Mage (for a wl/m guide click here ) the most important/most wanted Support in a typical Raid Setup.



    What is my Purpose as Support ?

    You Provide your Party with strong Buffs that increase the raids damage output or reduces the Raids taken damage also while stunning Mobs, while you can also ,due to your champion nature , be an offtank/second tank to help the Raid.

    Champion/Druid can/should be played with Healer or Chain Gear.


    Basic Buff Food / Selfbuffs:

    Suprise Cake,increases your physical defence , can be changed to magical defence food,hp food , whatever fits you best.


    Hero Potion,increases all basic attributes by 20%


    Transformation Potion,you can use either stamina/wisdom or stamina/strength (depending on your Gear) or HP potion

    Featured Cuisine Delicacy,increases all basic attributes by 4%


    Egg Rice Dumplings,increases magical and physical defense by 30%


    Shieldform,converts 80% of your strength into Stamina. You also need to be in shieldform to use some Supprt Skills . Keep in mind , when switching Zones you need to reuse this Skill.


    Savage Blessing,increases your and all raidmembers accuracy by 10.4%, also provides only you with Mother´s Blessing which increases your HP by 10.4%.

    Phoenix Redemption,prevents death once . Can be used after 10minuts again when the debuffs disappears.


    Experimental Dwarfen Ale,instantly provides you with 100 rage and then restores 15 rage every second for 30 seconds.


    Rune Growth,while in Shieldform provides a passiv 10.7% damage reduction to physical and magical damage.


    Aoth Valiance Cape,provides 100 rage once when used . Can be found in Varanas Nightmare from the Endboss loot.



    Scarlett Love, (Potion from your Housemaid) increases your Physical Defence by 5% for 10 Minutes.






    Offensive Buffs:


    Heavy Bash,reduces the Targets Patk and Defence by 2% per Stack.Can be stacked 6 times. Always have this stacked on Bosses.

    You wont be ablte to stack versus Trashmobs as they usually die fast and you are better of stunning them but more on that later.


    Knowledge of Destruction, Increases the damage of nearby Party Members by 15.3%. Always use this when the Group is trying to burst a big group of Trash mobs or Bosses. Usually indicated when the Tank starts a Count Down. Can be used when it is ready as it has a fairly low cooldown, but try to keep it up/ready for those Burst phases.


    Field of Replenishment, increases Patk/Matk of nearby Party Members by 5% and heals them for a low amount.As the Buff lasts 15 seconds and the Cooldown is 15 seconds , you should always have it up and running.


    Secret Technique of the Ruins ( Is the Lvl 104 itemsetskill ,for beginners hard to get so for now not a must have), increases nearby Party Members damage by 10% if used in Shieldform.


    Tambourine, increases the Physical and Magical Damage of all nearby Raidmembers by 15% for 30 seconds.

    (Mystical Music Instruments go for the whole raid, for starters the "normal /old" ones for party are also fine)




    Lute, increases the Physical Attackspeed by 25% and Cast Speed by 20% for 30 seconds for all nearby Raid Members.

    (Shares Cooldown with Guitar,Mystical Music Instruments go for the whole raid, for starters the "normal /old" ones for party are also fine)




    Guitar, increases the Physical Attackspeed by 20% and Cast Speed by 25% for 30 seconds for all nearby Raid Members.

    (Shares Cooldown with Lute,Mystical Music Instruments go for the whole raid, for starters the "normal /old" ones for party are also fine)



    Stuns and Interrupts:

    Stuns and Interrupts is, after providing damage buffs, your most important task. As for example in the current High End Instance Realm of Forgotten Legends (Rofl) most monsters have a decent AoE or annoying Fear/Dot/Debuff that can ,most of the Times, be countered if they are interrupted while casting it or stunned.



    Shock Strike,Stuns and Damages targets in a fan shaped Area infront of you.



    Electrocution,Interrupts the Target when casting.


    Vacuum Wave,Silences Enemies around you for 6.4 seconds. High Cooldown (30seconds)



    Defensive Buffs:

    I tend to use those buffs while doing Trash mobs to counter the occasional AoE´s that are coming through and not during Big Pulls as there are mostly Warlocks or Tanks using their Shields as they are more powerfull.



    Mother Earth´s Protection,reduces Physical and Magical damage of all friendly Targets around you by 20% for 10 seconds


    Feedback Defence,Increases Physical Defence of all nearby Party Members by 16% for 20 Seconds.Also reflects incoming attacks for 8.6% MainHand dmg.


    Recovery Blast,You sacrafice 25% of your hp and in return heal 15% of nearby Party Members Hp every second for 8 seconds.You also will be rooted for 4 seconds but your received damage will be reduced by 100% for that Time.


    Remodeled Body,when activated prevents Death once for 20 seconds.





    Rattle, increases Physical and Magical defence by 15% for 30 seconds for all Nearby Raid Members.

    (Shares Cooldown with Tambourine,Mystical Music Instruments go for the whole raid, for starters the "normal /old" ones for party are also fine)



    Siege War Skills:

    As you are the second most important Support , you will/should be put in Group 1 alongside a Warlock/Mage .Coordinate with him what Siege War skills he/ you will use , Either Storm Assault or Fire Training are recommendet here.StormAssault/Fire Training should always be used when the Group is buffing up for a Burst, usually indicated when the Tank is starting a Countdown.


    Storm Assault,increases the Patk/Matk ,Attack and Casting Speed by all Party members in range by 15% for 20 seconds


    Fire Training, increases Attack and Casting Speed by 10% for 20 seconds for all nearby Party Members


    Tactical Smash(most commonly used by Tanks but also an option for you if the group decides its best to be used by you), reduces Physical and Magical Defence for all enemies in range ( range is 50 , so really close) by 20% for 10 seconds.


    Midnight Ritual(most commonly used by Healers but also an option for you if the group decides its best to be used by you),reduces the Targets Physical and Magical Defence by 10% for 10 seconds.


    Item Set Skills:

    Most ISS have a low level counterpart with weaker Buffs that can/should be used when you are starting out , as they are much more easier to farm.


    Energie Restore( level 51 , can be bought for Mementos in Dalanis City),restores 10 points of Rage per second with a 4 second Cast.

    Good for when you have no other Rage gaining source active and 4 seconds of freetime


    Rune Guardian(Level 65, Grafu Castle), Sacrafice 50% of your Hp to shield nearby Party Members.


    Attack is the Best Defence(Lvl 90 Crypt of Eternity),each Basic attack increases your defence by 5%, stacks up to 50% and lasts 10 seconds.

    Battle Defence Transfer (lvl 60 Raksha Temple) , does the same but with 3% per stack (cant be used together)


    Unbreakable(Lvl98 Vale of Rites),reduces received Physical Damage by 10% permanently/passivly.


    Increased Drive(lvl 99, Ice Blade Plateau), Increases Dodge rate by 15% permanently/passivly. Double Edged Sword, you get less hit by Mobs but you also generate Less rage as you get a small amount of Rage when monsters Hit you. Probably best to use early on when you are weaker and replacable later on.

    Power Upgrade(Lvl 70,Tomb of Seven Heroes),Increases Dodge rate by 10%, same issue as with Increased Drive as explained above.


    Runic Charge(lvl 100 Tomb of Souls) Instantly recovers 100 Rage. 40 seconds cooldown and shares cooldown with Energy Supply.

    Energy Supply(lvl 67 Sardo Castle) Instantly recovers 100 Rage. 60 seconds cooldown and when used puts Runic Charge in 60 seconds cooldown.


    Secret Technique of the Ruins (lvl 104 extracted from Gold Accessories), increases nearby Party Members damage by 10% if used in Shieldform.

    Also this class has the ability to be a decent single-target healer. 8o

    Do you mean stuff like Everlasting Love Spiced Juice (7%int and wisdom / 3% mdmg and healing) ?


    Same with the house maids potions.

    Yes or a decent dps with chaingear:D This guide focuses for now only on supporting , i may ad some stuff for healing not sure yet
