Question about pet xp charms?

My pet was level 82 and it takes about 100 xp charms to go up a level. Is this about right as it seems a lot. I've used about 4-500 charms so far. At 10 diamonds a charm (if not on special) using 100 per level and I'm sure with each level it'll take more charms, that's a LOT of diamonds. Is this about right? Are there other ways to level up the pet!?!!

Merge them with pet eggs around same level. Once you have all the skills you Max with pet TP I really don't see the point of leveling...

I think it costs like 18k - 20k dias to get pet to 102 buying the potions on happy hour... so if you rly wanna level him up the charms are a little cheaper and Dreamland is a decent place to farm/fill them up

Never done Dreamland, heard of it though. Thanks for the tip mate :))) definitely will be doing that.

Go to Valley of Rites Normal mode. With enough xp buffs you will get the 10k xp per charm you need killing 1 only mob. Can farm hundreds of them in one hour.
Tip, clear only till first boss, then remake the party.

Getting there - pet's about level 96 now, and working on magic pet, around lvl 45. I like this game has lots of other things to do other than instances.
