More options to enable/disable visual effects

    is it (technically) possible to increase the options to enable/disable visual effects and make it more accurate? Currently the two main options are "own" and "other player", but it is not really consistent to its name. Due to performance issues, I always deactivate visual effects of "other player", but keep my "own" active for a better feedback and it just feels better. Sadly, there are some skills of other player, which will still be shown and often drastically affect the performance. In some cases I tend to also disable "own" effects, which then will results in some event effects are not visible (e.g. Orkham crystal auras, DC B2 Aura, Millim Boss colors, ...).

    My suggestion would be to split the effects in at least three options:

    • Own effect: only affects your own skills
    • Other player: affects ALL skills of other players
    • Event effects: affects effects for boss events (maybe you can divide it into more options, but at least a general option would be nice)

    This implementation would help everyone to adjust the settings accordingly and increase their performance. Also every option would be more reliable than before.

    Tactic visuals should be always enforced regardless settings. If you are able to provide exact buff names or even better IDs, we will be able to faster fix it for these specific tactics.

    I would gladly like to provide some ID's, but I dont have them currently and not sure if I can find them out, a lot of those effects are like "ground effects"/auras/bubbles. Here comes a list of the ones I know, which are visible when activating "own effects" and not visible if you deactivate all effects:

    • Orkham Zerdeons Laborer (event which needs an engineer): every 25% you need to click and crystal, a bubble/aura appears around it and you have to stand in it. Effects on -> bubble appears, Effects off -> no bubble visible around the crystal
    • Dark Core B2 Duna effect: Boss creates a bubble and everyone except the tank recieves damage inside. You can't see it, when effects are disabled. Same goes for the bubble/spere, when the two smaller bosses appears
    • Millim Worldboss (something with echo): Boss creates a bubble, which can be seen. Afterwards you have to step on certain colors, but they don't appear visible on the ground if you have deactivated the effects (even though now you can see a bubble)
    • Endboss Necro: Boss creates fire on the ground, which deals damage. When you have deactivated effects, you can't see any fire (this one is a big problem in my point of view, but would be consistent to also show it)

    If any other players know more event effects affected by this, please add them. :)
