Thank you for the report and the additional information. We reviewed the patch installation behavior shown in the screenshot. The upcoming launcher version 1.0.2.6 will include improvements to the game patching process, especially for updates that require more time to install.
We will try to release this update as soon as possible. If the issue occurs again before the new launcher version is available, please use the manual patches from our download page.

I think it worked but I won't know until after the Maintenance. Before in the launcher it only downloaded 134 mb and then I got the error. With the manual patch it downloaded all of it and now it says "Maintenance" on the play button so I'm pretty sure it worked. Thank you very much for your help. I just found out this server existed and I really wanted to play on it.

thanks for the details. We'll make sure the launcher properly detects when the rename fails due to file locking or any other filesystem error, and shows a clear message instead of just falling back to the backup prompt. This will be included in the next launcher update.

that really wasn't my intention at all, I don't think that about you. I asked because sometimes mice develop a double click issue over time from wear and tear, so I just wanted to rule that out, nothing more.
Could you tell me more about the renaming issue you mentioned? So if I understand correctly, the addons folder couldn't be renamed due to missing permissions, and that's what prevented the addons from being disabled? If that's the case, this is definitely something the launcher should detect and show a proper message for instead of the misleading backup prompt.

are you clicking the addons toggle once or twice? One click should do it. Also, does that backup restore popup show up right after just one click, and does the toggle then jump back to ON by itself?

I'm using Firefox. I tried on incognito mode and it's still the same but with an other brower it's fine. I'm only using an ad blocker as extension.

I would like to share a small user experience suggestion for the website.
While I was on https://chroniclesofarcadia.com/support, I needed to scroll down because I have many messages there.
At first, I looked for a “Go Down” button on the right side of the website, but I could not find one. Later, I used CTRL+F to find what I was looking for near the bottom of the page. When I reached the lower part of the page, I noticed the “Yukarı Dön” / “Go Up” button on the bottom-right side.
The “Go Up” button is very useful. However, it would also be nice to have a similar “Go Down” button to quickly move to the lower part of long pages.
This could be especially helpful for players like me who use the Support page often and have many messages there.

Thanks for your suggestion. If your list gets too long, you can reduce the number of displayed results using the Results filter. This will make the list shorter and require less scrolling.
Hi, I noticed on the patch notes page that at some parts on the page (near to the bottom) some lines/words are shaking. Right now for example it start shaking at the line "Post patch note" from 26th of May and then some random lines/words like "General" from PN 1006 and then "Optimized network traffic." "Fixed one cause of backports." "Optimised boss script for Resentful Mandara to improve performance." .

Since the last patch, I have the problem that the launcher searches for updates for a very long time.

Yes, based on the reports we have received, the issue primarily affected users connecting to the internet via Starlink. We are also aware of the slower connection to our server when using this service. We are actively working on resolving this problem to ensure a better connection experience. Until the issue is resolved, it is recommended to use an alternative internet connection if possible.

The launcher uses two independent methods to check the server status, so it’s highly unlikely that both of them would fail at the same time. This suggests that something on your system might be blocking the launcher’s connection to the internet. Even though you've disabled the firewall and antivirus, there could be other software interfering such as network monitoring tools, VPN services, or security applications running in the background.
Could you also check if you have a folder named LauncherErrorLog in your game directory? If so, please send us the latest .zip file from that folder, as it might help us identify the issue.
