Champion Dissasembly Mode + Allow .../Knight wear a Shield

    Fix Dissasembly Mode + Allow .../Knight wear a Shield 0

    My suggestion is fix Dissasembly Mode on Champion. This ISS is very useful but on this transformation you get 50% less buff from Forge - Chain Drive.
    And second suggestion is allow .../Knight (class with subclass knight) to wear a Shield. Bc on this combinations Shield of Discipline cannot be used without shield. (Scout, Rogue, Mage, Warden, Champion, Warlock cant wear shields) There you can play as Ch/K and shield of Discipline will be wery useful on tank combo.

    THe purpose of letting player experience the combo class that dont exits in other server is variety and beside from /knight, there is no class combo that cant use the common skill of secondary class, and the fix is actually very easy,the dev can just put the skill allow to use shield in the knight common skill board.

    Sorry but i dont see champ/knight can be OP even with that, like you said they lack elite and the knight common skill is about defense but champ already got priest as secondary class. But not only champ/knight, what about warden/knight ? druid/knight ? or even warlock/knight ?

    Champion have priest because dont have scout. But still I dont understand why Kaly thinks allowing secondary knight to wear a shield will ruin all tank combos. New players which aren't able to tanking on Ch/R (not enough defense) can tanking on Ch/K. Ch/R is still the best tank combo from champions (I never played here Knight as tank so I cant tell Champion is the best tank). So if Shield of Discipline is for all classes which have Knight on subclass, why some classes can't wear shield for this skill? Skill exist but dont work. Useless as (you know what)
    If Shield of Discipline working on knight, he is OP too. He can reduce recieved damage about 70% (I can be wrong, not able to use charplan right now) from Hall and Shield of discipline for 15s. If they reworked P/W (battle monk) to wear chain gear, why dont make "Paradise Class Combos" to Use Ch/K or other combinations with Warden, Druid, Scout, Priest, Champion, Knight and Warlock ?

    My personal opinion on this is that Champion's can not normally have Knight as second class so therefore do not have elite skills etc. This includes the abilities that /k may give a Champion.
    Champions are a very good class as it is and does not require even more defense.


    Though I agree that it is annoying that the legitimate combos cannot use skills such as shield of discipline due to being unable to equip shields.
    It would be nice if Runewaker would edit these skills accordingly, one can only hope xD


    What effect is Disassembly mode having on Forge specifically? Champion is not one of my played classes xD

    Shield Form Converts Strength into Stamina (80% on max)
    Disassembly Mode Converts Stamina into Strength (80%)
    And if you have buff Forge, there is chance to get buff Chain Drive which reset your cooldown on Rune Pulse and making this skill instant, not castable.

    If I recall correctly you cannot use disassembly mode while in shield form so the skill should not have a bearing on anything. Forge buff also only applies while in shield form.


    I have seen from peoples skill rotation ideas in various places that they tend to use the different forms for specific situations, they don't even stay in the forms so perhaps you will want to look into this side of things.

    No. Forge buff can be used without any form, and chain drive buff apear without form too. But there is nothing about Shield Form making chain drive better or there will be more them than normal.

    We have similiar plans for Disassembly Mode skill which will be applied along with class balance patch.

    However we do not plan to allow using shield for classes which is using Knight as sub class.
