If I kill a creature myself my pet gets the boxes but if my Warden (PET) kills someone he doesn't get the boxes.

Hello,
What kind of "boxes" do you mean? In video we can see only pet killing 2 monsters, but not any by you to see difference. Also can see loot is there is monsters. Do you mean any special object appearing after death of monsters or any kind of Talent Points / Experience Points or something else?
